As for food, tomorrow I will be grilling burgers and dogs for our three Friday picks. Tonight will just be a steak and cheese wedgie from Fox’s pizza.

 

I took today and Friday off from work, otherwise I would miss the start of the draft, and have to work OT on Saturday.

He's been forged as a solid Steel Machine - no changing - unless an unexpected cataclysmic meltdown occurs.

 

Wonder what would melt him down????

 

Menu - honey glazed extra thick bone-in pork chops and a sliced/diced veggie array all on the grill.

Edit - cancel this meal - will do it Saturday - takes too long to prep and cook. Looks like DiGiorno Hawaiian Rising Crust with a bagged all inclusive chop salad. EZ PZ.

 

If the Buccos moved out of Pittsburgh and renamed themselves the Parrots. The tat would need a major facelift.

 

Don't forget about OL - Abe Froman from University of Chicago. Ton of potential.

 

Just finished the jolly rancher jelly beans last night

 

I only hope if we draft a Center it isn't a project where he has versatility and only played a few games at Center in college. That was our issue with Kendrick Green.

 

I think we will give up our extra 3rd to move in front of Cincinnati and take Fuaga.

 

Victory? I like their beers, but Hop Devil may be the only beer I've ever had that I need a glass of water with to wash down. It somehow makes me thirstier.

Me, I want the best available center tonight. I think that's Powers-Johnson, but some say the Duke kid. If not, maybe the West Virginia kid in round 2?

 

I took tomorrow off too

 

4 bean 3 meat chili, and I hope whomever we pick is a lifelong Steelers, and a future HOFer

 

Let's just get it over with and grab JPJ. Fried chicken, root beer (the drunk GM needs an off day every once in a while) and spicy red beans.

 

You know, we're only given 3 wishes, so you may have to 86 one of those beans in your chili.

This is what I hope for tonight.
We draft Barton in the first.
Rest of the draft -
We trade a third and second to move up and get Ricky Pearsall in two.
Draft Renardo Green in the third.
Trade the fourth for Cortland Sutton
Trade Demarvin Leal for a fifth and get Walker at ILB
Draft Boyd at DT in 6th.
Sign Bechton at RT in FA.
Sign FA Rookie from London OT Prospect.

We are not going to come away with a starting RT, C, WR, Slot CB in this draft. One of the positions has to suffer and I picked RT to suffer. Hopefully Bechton can hold that position down for a year and we draft RT next year.

Wishful thinking probably, Practical I think so.

 

Moatsy was saying we should take Brian Thomas Jr. in the 1st Rnd...

Honestly, I don't hate that ... reminds me a lot of Santonio Holmes ... long arms, natural hands catcher, can beat guys deep.
