Guyton if we trade down. Would not want him at 20. Pick up an extra 3rd or 2nd.

may be their thinking if we have to trade up in the 2nd for frazier. i do think guyton would have the size they like if the rest of the top tackles are off the board.

Speaking of which. I did a little digging last month, and as far as yards for last year at the Wr position. Only about 7 of the top 20 were 1st round picks, and about 4 were 2nd round picks....so almost half of the top 20 Wrs in the league last year were 3rd round, and lower picks.

Easy over there; tell Jeh to pass you a beer and a Geritol. AB was actually a 6th, DJ a 3rd. :smiley1:

No one. We're starting Fields and running the single wing offense. By damn it worked for Pop Warner and will work here in Pittsburgh.

That's right. AB was a 6th. I thought so was a 4th. My bad but it doesn't change the premise of the topic.

In the past we could evaluate wr talent, With all the 7 on 7 being practiced in this country
the WR position should be plentiful. Look at Puna for LA Rams wasn't he in 3rd? There is many out there your scouts have
    to find them.

Yea, I typically take a break around March into April myself. Not much to talk about after the first FA wave. But now that it's draft week, gotta jump on.

I like him. If he's around in the 4th and we haven't gotten any WRs yet I'd take him.

    Did a lil thing

1st Round: traded with Arizona to get the 27th and 35th Picks

2nd round traded back with Green Bay to get their 58th overall as well as their 3rd and 4th Round picks.

    1st Round 27th Graham Barton C
2nd Round 35th Tyler Guyton OT
2nd Round 58th Roman Wilson WR
    3rd Round 84th T'Vondre Sweat DL
    3rd Round 88th Cole Bishop S
3rd Round 98th Kris Abrams Drain CB
4th Round 119th Jeremiah Trotter ILB
    4th Round 126th Sedrick Van Pran C
6th Round 178th Luke McCaffery WR
6th Round 195th Matt Concalves OT
7th Round 255th Austin Reed QB

Double dipped at C for a reason. Van Pran can chill on the bench for a year and get inserted next year after they make a decision on Seamalu or Daniels because Daniels contract expires after this season and Isaac is on the wrong side of 30. Trading down is fruitful especially if you end up with your targets anyways. Coming up with 6 picks for the first two days was great. Couldn't have ask for a better board to fall like this. Addressed many needs along the way. Reality is, it's not going to fall like this lol
