IF STEELERS GO FOR FIELDS

My friend, the way the NFL is hurrying qbs, there is going to be a whole lot more 1st rd flops.

 

I believe this is what was reported by the Steelers themselves....was that He took surgery so He could comeback, and play faster. I could be wrong, and I might have dreamt that, but...

I realize stats dont mean much to some on here, but stats are stats for a reason. They show what you can and cannot do.

Somehow some think Fields will be different here. He is better than KFP, but that is not saying much at all.
Heres an idea since we dont blame qbs anymore for their poor play, maybe the Bears OC sucks

 

I actually feel everytime Fields is brought up...like I'm have dejavu....it almost exactly like a lot were saying about Trubisky. It was all Chicago's fault....., and now We have seen...his best years were in Chicago. Can You imagine if We got Fields, and his best years also were in Chicago. Oh GEEZZZZ. LoL

 

Why would the Steelers want Fields or Wilson? Neither one of those guys are better than Pickett.

Faster than he was before the injury? That would be something! Does that mean he would bale quicker?

 

Because you are not going to have 1 QB on the roster. You really think you are going to get a better QB with a 4th round pick than Fields, or a 6th round pick for Zach Wilson?

FYI, I saw where the Jets have given permission for Zach Wilson to seek a trade. I have not read anywhere if Chicago has "Officially" given Fields permission to seek a trade.

I liked the Dallas trade last year for Trey Lance for a 4th round pick. All that raw potential there, same as Fields, who I would also give a 4th round pick for. Both of these players have Special Arm Talent, they are just not ready for NFL defenses.

I want absolutely nothing to do with the 35+ year old Russell Wilson.

 

I forgot all about Bud. He signed that 5 year $85 million in 2021 with the Titans, and then was released in 2023. Signed a 1 year contract with Atlanta last year for only $3 million and now once again is a free agent.

Bud must look like he has Georgia Costanza's wallet in his back pocket with all that crazy Titan's money.

The Steelers are not going to trade for Fields. It is not the type of moves we make and then we are stuck with a project that costs a fortune and has no results to back up the pay. His stats are horrific and he has lost more games then practically any qb in the league the last 3 years. Hail mary if we do this dumb trade

 

They would be better off re-signing Mason, instead of signing Wilson or Lance.

 

Dupree was about to have consecutive double digit sack seasons before he got injured, they just weren't going to pay him because they had to pay Watt.
