That quote is from Jan 16, the day after they lost to Buffalo. What was he supposed to say, that if Pickett had started, they would have won? Thrown Rudolph under the bus? It's hardly a reason to damned him to Hell today. Tell us what he's said since then. Anything? Anything at all to say he's promoting Rudolph over Pickett?

I respect your opinion. He is a head case. It wouldn't be a bad idea IF they had someone to step in and take his reps and stats. They don't have that hence my saying the receiver room is thin.

I was hoping Austin would have excelled but hasn't. You then have Pickens. Allen Robinson II is going to get cut. Then you have a lot of bodies.

i agree - we have a problem. Austin MIGHT be Ok, with a talented QB + a good OC.

we may never know (regarding the talented QB, if they stick with Pickett).

they need to rebuild this WR corps, there is NO WAY that DJ gets another contract here (he just can't) , so I'd take the pain now, trade and get, what, a 2 for him? a 3 at worst?

If trading DJ, move CA3 to the X. Pickens is the Z. Slot is the TE room and Najee.

When saying this about a player then you should include the link in your OP.

CA3 is probably too small to be a starter, and play on the outside.

That is his natural spot. It’s where he spent his college career.

What? There really is a difference? JK

CA3 earned a spot on NFL draft boards by his college production. His NFL production has been lacking. Move him back to his natural position. See if that helps maybe.

I don't see it happening, I think his role will continue to a gadget guy.

The Steelers are not going to pay big money to two wr's
Either George or Dion has to go.

This...what was once though if as a very solid room is pretty damn thin, especially if they get rid of DJ. Sure you can find good WR in round 3 and below, and some have been amazing...note that word some..many not so much.

You saw in the 4 games with Rudolph why the entire offense, not just DJ wants Rudolph to start... Wasn't it fun to watch a good offense again??? You can't really blame them for wanting to be successful...

If Virginia was named after the 'Virgin Queen', what does that mean for Idaho?

I looked real hard for a "slap" emoji. And I couldn't find a "groan" emoji for Alaska.
