The criteria don't matter much if he is their best candidate

The best OC’s out there are looking for HC gigs. Also if you are currently a good OC, you surely aren’t looking to leave a good team to come and have to deal with this mess. The Steelers will have to hire an up and comer such as Robinson.

Maybe Tomlin is wanting to start a coaching tree.

Maybe Kenny's camp can counter with having the Steelers interview Alex Van Pelt next.

Van Pelt would definitely be a huge hometown boy.

Ehh, Shanahan offense is notoriously complex, and takes time to learn.

Though It'd be hard to be worse than whatever Canada was doing.

I still don't understand why the Steelers have not announced an interview with the local boy. Sure would make the locals and Kenny happy.

Not sure why there was no love for him in getting the Browns to the playoffs with all the QB problems ClevelaND HAD THIS YEAR. Cleveland lost both their Franchise RB and QB, and still finished in front of the Steelers for their playoff seeding.

Don’t want any OC that has Howell throwing 600 times a season

He had no choice because the commanders defense were the worst in the NFL in 2023

They were both Oklahoma state Qbs is where the connection comes from... Robinson has earned his job though & is well thought of for a reason... Not a lot of upside for a well established OC to take this job considering Qb situation... Will have to be an up & comer like Robinson & sure he could help Pickett, but it's more likely the connection to Rudolph & their history of working together that makes him a good option...

I’m hearing that Robinson will be following Raheem Morris to the Falcons.

He did join Atlanta according to Ian Rapoport, We gonna mess around and all the good ones are gonna be gone. They've only meet with what 2 thus far, Johnson and Brown.

We’ve interviewed two people. In contrast, the Patriots have interviewed six.

Sure hope it’s just a matter of us not hearing about them.

Robinson was always likely to follow Morris to Atlanta once he got the job there. It’ll be interesting to see what they do now at QB, they have a good roster outside of that position.

Hopefully the Steelers get the right guy in the next few weeks

I can't believe Brown is even in the conversation, we've just fired a moron with ZERO resume who ruined 3 seasons, now we're talking to another guy with nothing concrete to reccomend him at all. You just cannot expect to be taken seriously as a management structure when you're even considering Brown, I don't care what the mitigating circumstances might be, you can't be interested in a guy who had anything to do with the worst offense in the NFL.

    It's laughable.
