That was a joke. Yes I've had one for 6 years but it never goes up until August 1. You are a newer member so never took part. Generally it gets 50-60 members guessing. This season sec108 hit it right on the head! Got overall record, home record and away record spot on. First year I didn't need the tiebreaker.

That's when it should go up. Not enough info on upcoming staff or players, just pure poppy cock at this point.

Do you think that's really going to matter? It's still going to be guess no matter what, so this is as good of a time as any. I guess you have to factor in injuries too? That would be impossible

All good. There was a thread this last season early too.
it's cool to compare end of season and then start of season.
    to many variables.
FFS 2023 draft had a ton of contribution
these guys will or should be like DY NO MITE 2024.

Steel Machine has the official season record contest.

9-8 sounds about right. The division will be tough again and I doubt they manage 5-1.

Although if Mason plays at the level he showed this season and the ILBs are healthy/upgraded, they could do better than 9-8.

I’ll toss this out there: Does this look like a team on the rise?

    I can’t say so.
They have good skill guts at WR and RB. The pass rush is good, Minkah ‘s still young and JPJr looks like the real thing.
but the OL need work, Cam might be done, Watt’s gonna be 30, and the QB spot is at ? mark to be generous. Burrow will be back.

I see another will-we-get-in-or-not final two weeks next season. Enough for the optimists to say “see we’re getting better” and pessimists to say “Ehh, more of the same”. 8-9 to 10-7, unless KFP really surprises.

Maybe we should wait until after free agency, and the draft don't you think ?

I will have my final answer by May 12th. Why specifically said date?! May 11th is the release date of the schedule. I will have far more clarity by then pending on the construction of the Roster by that point.

9-8. Schedule is the third hardest in football, mainly on the strength of the North.

Haven’t we been saying this for years now? Trust me the Tomlin supporters will always have an excuse.

I want to say that it’s too soon, but it seems like there’s a script that’s followed with a fair amount of regularity that will get us to either 9-8 or 10-7, and needing help to make the playoffs in week 18. If we make it we’ll go on the road and get beat in the 1st round. Call that script #1. Every once in a while we’ll go to a different script and finish high enough to win a home playoff game before getting rocked in the first round at home by a team that’s vastly better prepared to play. Call that script #2.

I’m thinking that, no matter what our offseason moves are, next season we’ll stick with script #1. I can’t wait to see what adversity we’ll overcome to get some surprise wins, and what lousy teams we’ll lose to in critical situations to get back to average.

Wasn't my hope to see Tomlin for another 3 years probably. Maybe Art II retires then and his son takes over. Tomlin and him go out in a blaze of mediocrity. No use harping about it is how I feel now. We shall see who the Outside OC is going to be and what he can bring to the table. Script #1 and 2 will not be acceptable but I can see the scenario for sure. Its quite nauseating. In which I just don't understand the most staunch Tomlin supporter is not concerned or phased that the post season has been dismal for years and the light at the end of the tunnel is a fright train.

Yes but the slim hope in me is still alive. And yes their is always a rolodex of excuses. Its about winning seasons in front of the curtain to them. But don't go behind the curtain to reveal the major lack of playoff success and getting smashed by 30+ several times. Nothing to see back there, nothing to see
