In east Carolina right now no snow expected , but headed to Boone Thursday should have plenty.
Supposed to go see Ron White at the Tennessee Theatre the following weekend

 

I don't remember the exact game, but there was a late game some years past where the fog was so thick, the camera views could barely see the players on the field. It wasn't until the 2nd quarter where it was possible for a TV viewer to actually tell a game was going on.

The people saying it was only a little snow and wind haven't thought it through.
The game presentation with gale winds and heavy snow would have been like watching the static after a TV station is done broadcasting for the night.

 

Some fan commented that the Steelers should follow GB's blueprint for a 7th seed to beat a 2nd seed.
My thought is that arranging to play the Cowboys (and waiting for them to choke) during the AFC playoffs is not a viable strategy.

That was the infamous "Fog Bowl" at Soldier Field between the Bears and Eagles, won by the Bears.

 

It is kind of hard to tell from that view, but yeah, they roads weren't going to be safe.

 

I’d rather be watching it in Acrisure Stadium but otherwise inside with a warm fire an appropriate libation and my dogs is just fine

Oh and my wife I almost forgot and she’s in charge of putting logs on the fire and bringing me beer

 

My dog Alex would go to the fridge and get me a Stroh's.
Then he learned how to open and drink them, the lil f*cker

 

I do now. I used to live in Pittsburgh while in school. and then I do extensive travel with jeep. So it was not unusual for jeep to call me wanting picture and I lived at a location for month or two. Plus I had titans and the falcons I did pictures for, so I travelled with them.

 

I would have because price of tickets went down. but with how flights ended up being, I could not get a flight there unless I wanted to leave out here early today and make a rush to the stadium within a couple hours.

they had no reason to cancel the flights in buffalo. nor any reason to keep them cancelled.

 

I mentioned yesterday that my nephew is a commercial pilot and he agrees with you FWIW. He said the weather was fine and there were some gusty winds but they were manageable. Apparently the Steelers flight and several other commercial flights landed there without issue yesterday.

 

Ok so you have no real first hand knowledge of what’s going on around Buffalo right now.
Just enjoy the game in a few hours.

I’d file a complaint if I were you. But I’d do it with the people responsible and stop bugging everyone here about it.

May be Tomlin's last game, team is under pressure to win a playoff game. I'm sappy about that.
Mason's first playoff start after he was kicked to the curb by the fans for 6 years, against Allen, his draft class buddy. Gets me sappy.

And as we inch closer to kickoff, I am more and more confident in Steeler ball.

 

I worked with a guy whose daughter was an official photographer with the Carolina Panthers. Seemed like a pretty cool gig.
