I'm not defending Garrett, but since I wasn't there, I'm not going to state what was or wasn't said. If Garrett was on the steelers when that unfortunate incident occurred, I'm guessing there would be a little more rationalization of his actions by steelers fans.

Not from me. If a Steeler player did that, I'd be just as critical about the action. I didn't defend Jeff Reed when he attacked the paper towel dispenser or Joey Porter when he was arrested for attacking a bar doorman.

Because Pouncey was close by and never heard it, nor did any of the other linemen who were in close proximity. Mike Tomlin, Rudolph’s head coach (who is black, by the way) came strongly to his defense as did his black teammates. Nowhere in Rudolph’s past is there any indication that he has a racist bone in his body and those who have known him, played with him and been associated with him for many years said that word is NOT in his vocabulary. JUSSIE GARRETT IS A LYING, RACE BAITING FOOL!!!

 

There’s absolutely no justification for what he did. NONE! If he were a Steeler (and I’m glad he isn’t) I’d still think he’s a lying race baiter although admittedly I may not be as vocal about it. I would have a hard time rooting for him though. You’re right, none of us were there but the evidence is overwhelming from eye/ear witnesses that no such word was ever uttered! Garrett was lying to try to save his skin and save face after he lost it and tried to murder a guy on national television!
