After three bad losses to finish the season with three straight wins to get to 10-7, many thought they wouldn't win another game after losing to the Colts. I bet nobody had the Steelers going 5-1 in the division, and sweeping the Ravens and Bengals, I'm not sure this has happened before.

But it would suck to win 10 games, and not make the playoffs.

We have looked good and organized. Defense is playing well. Ready for the playoffs.
Offensive coaching is still a bit uneven. Surprisingly aggressive at times and surprisingly conservative at times. It's weird. We'll have to get used to it.

I think losing Watt is the last piece the D just cannot overcome. Maybe they rally but hard to lose the best defensive player in the game and not have it be a crippling loss.

It would be a devastating blow, but I think this is the first year since he’s been here where we could actually survive it. Golden and Herbig are the best depth I can remember in the last 6-7 years.

But him back with that kind of damage is not just a possible liability but also extremely dangerous for his future. No…?

I’m pretty pissed off at them. 3 very winnable games makes us rely on other teams to get us in the playoffs. Tomlin gets no pass from me. All at the cost of possibly missing TJ

I thought that the worse we would do is go into OT in that game but Canada orchestrated a 13 second drive to allow the Browns to kick a last second FG.

It sucks not making the playoffs

The number of wins isn’t really the determining factor

This game right here is the reason the Steelers wont make playoffs. Nevermind the 2 losses to very bad teams, Cards, Pats and you can throw Indy in there too.

Sir I’ve told you a million times not to exaggerate

It was a 14 second drive

    1:42 to 1:28 4th Quarter

Proud that they won the last 3 games, 2 impressively, pissed that those 3 losses (2 at home) were a total crapfest from coaching to player apathy. Every team goes through a down time, and though this team is 10-7 and 5-1 in division (remarkable), they did not play for much of the season like a team that should have won many of those games, and you even have games like that, but to many times this team lacked focus, being prepared, heart and fire. Injuries did not help, and again that happens, the ravens had a long list, as do the browns and bengals.

This has been noticeable quite often the last few years, there is little to no magic at home, perhaps its just the young player mentality, or some serious adjustments need to be made on the culture of the team. Not sure it will be done, I like what Omar brings, he made a definite change in the attitude and movements this past off season, felt this was truly a prep year to move this organization forward, so with that I have hope and continued interest. Oh yea, despite 10-7, with or without PO's, FU MT, you will likly remain here, but until this team gets on top, FU.

They also won the last three games on the road with a patch work defense .

And we've gone in this little run missing both safeties, who should be back.

Especially if an 8-9 team wins the NFC south, which could happen.

Keep in mind, if the Bengals win, every team in the division will be ove .500 and make the north by far the toughest division

    Imagine being in Buffalo.
11 wins and they are the #2 AFC seed.
10 wins and they don't make the playoffs at all (if Jax wins).
