What do you think the Bears should do with the #1 pick in the Draft?

Keep the pick and trade Fields or keep Fields and trade the number 1 pick?

The only thing that really matters is inside their room, Cowherd (I know) said a while a go 2 formers Bears players who 'might' have inside thoughts said they are staying with him, of course that could be early smoke and mirrors. Unless spoken before I think the picture will be better when they decide if they are picking up his option.

They should trade Fields. He'll never take them to a SB

I would keep the pick and choose Marvin Harrison Jr. Fields has greatly improved over the second half of the season. Harrison Jr. might be the best WR taken in the last 20 years.

Given where they are picking they have to take a QB, assuming they feel good about one of them.

I like Fields but he will never be a high level passer.

The big offer that the bears could have for the number 1 pick could be very tempting to make the trade if it happens

Have to take either Williams or Maye.

Contrary to popular belief, while Caleb has not just the best but most gifted and freakshow level arm in the draft..... that is more or less... all he has. Does possess good improv capability but Drake Maye isn't that far behind in that regard either. Furthermore, while he doesn't have Williams' arm, Maye still got an Elite NFL QB Arm to work with.

Whomever it is between the two will come down to whomever the Head Coach is. Hopefully not Matt Eberflus but if so, may come down to Maye.

Draft another Qb, and if God is willing....some time next Year....I will bring this Thread back up if they keep Him, and show it again.

You are likely to find a way, God willing or not...not saying you would obviously and tick the big guy off, but you salivate when you can piss off some of the guys here. lmao

The God willing in that we are all alive still by then, and yes....I guiltily derive pleasure at times doing such things. LoL.

Yeah, but are you taking him #1 Overall?

The bears have bumped their own 1st round pick out of the Top 5, and now they are at #10 down the stretch of this season. A few weeks into the seasonb the Bears were sitting pretty with 2 Top-5 draft picks.

I just don't think you can pull the trigger on a WR at the #1 overall pick and I don't think Harrison will be there at #10 either.

This. I don't think any Wr is worth the 1st pick overall. Isn't the money way different for a 1st pick also???

#1 is almost double what #10 would get.
    Quite a big difference.
I agree, a WR just isn't worth taking 1st overall.

I would ride with Fields. Trade the top pick for more picks and draft WR and defense.

agreed, but having the top pick, then sitting at number 10 you certainly can do a lot of things. Just starting with the next 4 below you, how much do they covet their guy and how much are they will to give up to get him. They really are sitting sweet, but for some reason i think they will find a way to mess this up, lol.

Did you see that hit in the Ch/GB game right now on Fields? I was expecting to see some Chicago players go ape-sh!t after the play defending their QB.

Does this say anything about Field's locker room presence?

Naw, just shows the NFL is selective in those kind of hit/calls.

Agree, it was crazy there was no flag there after watching Kazee get tossed from the season for the same type of hit. Same exact shot as Kazee, turned his head and hit him with the shoulder pads.

The head hit the turf pretty hard as well but those kind of calls don't get called against the prima donna Packers.
