They could fix the mistake they made passing on Biadasz to take McFarland.

I’m not a draft guy but the top needs have to be DB and OL. A lot depends on how the board falls but it would be fantastic if they could come away with a new starting CB and RT or C.

A lot of it depends on free agency and how the draft board falls of course

I wouldn't draft a safety in the first, unless there's a Polamalu type available, last year Brian Branch was the best safety and he didn't get drafted until the second round.

does not matter - they will be keeping Tomlin, which means we will be losing to some more 2-10 teams and rooting for teams week 17 to help us secure a #7 seed.

    the standard is the standard.

I wanted Branch, but I am very happy with JPJ and Jones - can't have them all!!

Or the right tackle for that matter. He got blasted right into the qb.

Exactly what I want to see. But I also can see a Defensive Lineman in the mix.

Center and Right Tackle needs to be the priority. Cole is signed for 6,271 mill and there is a dead cap of 1,521 mill in 2024. Chuks hopefully is moved has a dead cap of 3.083 mill and a whopping 11,833 mill cap hit. Either they trade him or release.

    Receiver over a Safety.

JC Latham likely isn't making it past the top 10 anyways barring some severe circumstances. One bad rep does not beget a poor Draft Grade.

I don't really follow college that close. I didn't realize he was that good. Not the way he wanted to end his college career in that case.

Indeed. Not something Latham is going to be happy about either.

Fair enough though on not watching it! Quite a bit of College Football to watch year round!:drinks:

I don't think Seamalu has been a whiff, his play has been inconsistent though, and in the second half of the season he has been playing with a shoulder injury.

    ILB is a priority too.

It is, but I wouldn’t be going there with a high pick personally. It is a notoriously difficult position to draft with a huge bust rate, and they were doing fine with the free agent pickups they had until injuries wiped out the position group.

rowe and thompson have played well. thompson is young. neal, kazee, riley, peterson, minkah. i'm not sure safety should be a high priority.

corner, center, tackle, DL. i think if they come back healthy our ILB spot could be quite good. maybe sign mykal walker back as depth. alexander has to be signed.

He is playing in between Moore and the Worm Killer so he has to compensate. He will be fine. An upgrade on both sides of him. Moving Jones to LT and grabbing a center with the first 2 picks should remedy the situation. Hell they drafted the scrub Green and started HIM right away

I am really looking forward to see what Kam Kinchens can bring to the table tomorrow at the combine.

yup, solidify the line, make the offense move the chains and keep the D off the field. C first, maybe CB or SS in the second or third.

Ah My favorite day at the combine. I hope all the DBs show up, and show out. I got My eyes on some from Missouri, and Clemson....actually I got My eyes on more, but I always have a few I like right off....wrongly, or correctly.

I really liked James Williams performance in the combine today. He's a 6'5" 231 lb. safety from Miami. His ball skills were excellent in the receiving drills, the downside for him was his forty time of 4.65. That will drop him to around round 4 but he is a thumper in the running game too, he might move from safety to ILB in the NFL.

Same. Really that's not a bad time for His size. Safety is all about instincts, and his actual play shows He has this. Look at T. Edmunds....runs fast , jumps far, built well, but has such bad instincts that He probably going to His 3 team in only one year gone from here.

With Bowers not participating that gave some of the other TE's a chance to shine. Theo Johnson from Penn State really opened some eyes by running a 4.57 and that's for a guy 6'6" and weighing 260. Ben Sinnott from Kansas State, 6'4" 258, was solid all the way around. He caught everything thrown to him in the passing drills, was explosive on the blocking sled and ran a 4.68 forty. The fastest 40 time for the Tight Ends was from Devin Culp from Washington at 4.47 but he is kind of a tweener WR/TE at 6'3" and 231.

Kinchens stock down. Could he fall to the 2nd round for the Steelers?

we need a great center first. Not a dirt bomber. Who can block and destroy. Then probably def. line off. line look at free agents for cb safety help.Theres lots to get. We need lots of help and if KID GLOVES KENNY sucks again, we need a real QB.:worried::worried::worried:
