I’m leaning that way too. I have to decide which of them to start for my fantasy football championship.

Bush is planning to ambush us.

I would love to see his ass get run over by Warren. Sadly I can only follow on here.

Poor Najee. I truly love both, but a lot of the fan base doesn't. I find it funny when Warren does well.....4, or 5 different threads about it, and when Najee does well......crickets....., but it was this same type of crap that led to all the talk of Ben holding Canada's offense back, Mason is the worst Qb on the team, and so on.

This game lines up well for Warren. He is ranked 4th in explosive runs and Seattle gives up 9th most explosive runs.

Harris may get the TD’s though as they have begun using him twice as much than Warren in scoring position..

Both are necessary for the Steelers success. By splitting both (yes I know it's not exactly 50/50) it keeps them both fresh in the 4th quarter.

Depends on the scoring. Overall, I'd say Harris has the better floor, Warren the better ceiling. Najee carries a bit higher a TD% with his touches inside the 20, but Warren gains with any PPR points, and, as Blast pointed out, could take advantage of a defense prone to giving up more explosive runs (or short passes in his case as well).

Over the past five games Seattles run defense has allowed the third-highest rushing yards per game. While this benefits both, Harris should still get first crack at it. Assuming he's productive, he likely sees more opportunities - including those close to the end zone. Then it's up to whether Warren breaks some chunks or proves dynamic in the passing game.

Was kinda thinking the same thing. Didn't really think the O.P. was trying to start a debate.

No he couldn’t. Once STD steps onto a soap box, he treats it like the soap box is surrounded by hot magma that’s ready to burn his feet off if he dares to step down.

A lot of it comes from stuff that is out of Najee's control. The RB position doesn't have much value in the first round anymore, so backs that go in the first are expected to be studs. Top 5-10 guys pretty much guaranteed. Najee didn't have any say in where he got drafted, but he has been far from an upper tier back in the NFL. So a lot of fans are disappointed in what he brings to the table, because one would expect a lot more out of a guy that warranted the draft position that Najee did. We were shooting for Zeke Elliott and got Melvin Gordon instead. Not an awful back, but not a cornerstone that we were hoping for.

People don't talk about when Najee's good because he is expected to be good. Warren was undrafted, so it is more of a surprise when he comes in and outperforms the guy we spent premium capital on.

Najee is a fine enough back, but he isn't worth the draft capital we spent to get him. I personally like Warren's skillset better, and think he brings more to the table in the modern NFL offense. There is a place for both of them (and working in a tandem to some degree is probably optimal), but I wouldn't break the bank on Harris.

No PPR but receiving yards is a consideration. My gut says go with Najee because if goal line work, but I have this nagging feeling that Warren may bust a Cleveland game type of run or take a swing pass to the house.

I’m favored to win by 20 with Najee in the lineup as it stands.

This league has been going for 30 years and is against guys i went to junior high with. I need these bragging rights

I’m a Najee fan. He was my second round pick after McCaffery. Snagged Warren in the 10th. Haven’t played Warren yet this year, but was thinking of rolling the dice since it’s the championship.

I definitely was not lol. Just thought it best to ask the board since this group is what I consider to be actual Steelers insiders. I wanna win my championship this weekend.

Steelers defense will be a part of it as well as ONE of the Steelers RBs.

I'd stick with Harris. Warren's performance against Cleveland was the pinnacle of his season (20.5 non-PPR points, RB2 for the week), the bulk of his points coming from the 70-rard TD run. Since then his fantasy totals have been 4.2 (Najee 15.9), 5.5 (7.7), 4.0 (4.8), 6.8 (1.3), 5.4 (13.9). Not a ton of difference between the two, but Warren has been pretty flat over that span (which coincidentally lines up with Sullivan taking over the play calling).

Najee will have a big game. They are trending down. They also must protect the deep ball. Najee 120 plus tomorrow.

I hope they’re both productive, because that’s when we’re at our best.

I think the big problem with Najee is that the team committed the cardinal sin of drafting a RB in the first round. I think fans would be more appreciative of Najee if the expectations weren’t for him to be a productive bell cow back. I think he’s a good RB by committee player.
