One more win!!!!

I hate having to root for the Ravens, but obviously it will be much better for the Steelers if Baltimore has the 1 seed locked up by week 18 and they rest their regulars. Beat Seattle and then Beat the Ratbird practice squad....then dream for a few days.

 

Highly doubt 9-8 will get them in Playoffs. And going to Seattle is a whole different animal then a weak D Bengal team in the Burgh. Now if they do to Seattle what they did to Bengals, I'd celebrate the fact they didn't quit like so many of us thought they were doing.

 

Even 10-7 is no guaranty, they'll still need a little help

 

Well, they're not 9-8 and I don't see a whole lot of people celebrating. At least not around here.

 

Not sure if you've been paying attention or not but that fan club is pretty much defunct.

 

I bet there are still some MT fanboys lurking here in the shadows, just waiting for a moment to re-emerge and start hanging on his balls again. IF the Steelers make the WC game and IF they somehow were able to win a postseason game, they'll be insufferable SOBs. And IF that happens, I will happily tolerate it. Since hall monitor threw in the MT towel, RG3 is apparently the new president and PR guy of that club.

 

I'm not so sure it wouldn't take a Super Bowl win to turn some people around on Tomlin and even then, I'm not sure it would happen. Kind of puts the fans in a pickle because you want to root for the players and the team but I'm not so sure I want the wool pulled over Art's eyes so he extends Tomlin.

 

Agree with everything you wrote. I'll settle for a single postseason win at this point. The last time Tomlin won a postseason game was 2,541 days ago from today. Unless pimply dan resurfaces and puts the good juju on the steelers, I'm afraid that number will continue to grow and so will the fervor to can MT.
