I know it's not gonna happen and KP will rush back after surgery.

But this is the year of the unknown QB's all over the league. What will it hurt? We know MT and MR cannot get it done.

It's a longshot of ANY qb being successful with this scheme and offensive line. But give us fans something interesting to watch instead of the rinse and repeat of MT or MR.

Mason Rudolph's throw to the sideline looked like a knuckleball. It slowly floated out of bounds 10 feet over everyone's head. I hope he was just trying to throw it away because if that was a real pass attempt that was pretty sad.

I am not sure what the timetable is on Pickett. I am guessing Rudolph starts this week. If he ends up being just as awful as Trubisky was, then why not play McSorely? Play RPO all game long. It might be easier to generate offense this way. As a Penn St. Alum at least it would give me a reason to watch the rest of this **** show.

Why should we change now? You wouldn’t believe how much bitching and moaning I did yesterday and for good reason.

I actually feel bad for Mason at this point, give him the start.

    Won’t matter though.

I don't even wanna see Rudolph, He seriously looks like he has feet of concrete. If he would play a complete game, he would be strip sacked at least 3 times and have a pick 6. BUT, you will have a very few members on this board that will say to give MR a week with the starters in practice and he will turn into Joe Montana.

Gotta at least give Mason a shot. I am not going to judge him on anything from yesterday. Give Rudolph the start. If he sucks too, play McSorley and let's just run 60 times a game the rest of the year.

Give Mason some tape and hope that he increases his trade value. After how he's been treated since he got here, I think the kid deserves at least that much.

I’m fine with giving Rudolph a chance, but fully expect more of the same (or worse).

There’s a reason why he is the 3rd string QB on a team devoid of talent at that position. As mentioned above, no one was that interested when he was a free agent.

Not sure but I think Pickett would be available for Raven game. They may have clinch the bye by week 18 so we would be playing against Lamar's back-up.

Thus, my comment. Give the guy some fresh tape and hope for the best. Worst case scenario is that he's just as bad as Mitch. This team would actually be better off losing out at this point, tbh, but I can't root for that. But, either way, I just hope that if Mason is given one last opportunity, he can make the best of it.

If they continue with this clown show next year then get used to it. Some of us are just not just casual fans.

Okay, so all of you that feels sorry for Mason, want to give him a chance. You do realize that after the first or second offensive series the Boooing and the calling for him to be benched will rain in. Now whatwill that do to Mason mentally if you already feel sorry for him?

I think our opponents will take care of that for us! We used to have a veteran backup in years past now we have two complete husks of football players. They are terrible and how much did we sign Mitch for. That has to be one of the worst financial contracts we have ever put forth for a backup QB.

He is on a 1 year expiring deal. If he plays it is likely for being out of the league or a #3 somewhere

    He has no trade value

    He has been treated fairly

He doesn’t deserve anything that he doesn’t earn

Other than that I agree with you

Start one of the OL (or all of them) at QB and don't block for them. Maybe after getting their a$$ kicked for a series or two, they'll understand what their performances led to.

The Ravens likely aren't clinching anything before week 18. KC has 3 very winnable games, so they're getting to 12-5 most likely. If that happens, the Ravens have to get to 13-4 since KC holds the tiebreaker. Unless Baltimore wins the next 3 (Jags, SF, Miami), they're going to need week 18 to lock of the bye.

Add to it that the Ravens likely want to rub the Steelers' noses in dog crap and it might wind up with a 50 burger on them.

Trace is a tough SOB. I went to PSU and follow them closely. He was probably the best QB there in the last 20 years. Good runner, good arm, has all the intangibles. Can't be any worse than the ragtag backups we have. At least he is mobile.

I'm not against the idea. This worked out for other teams this year so why tf not.
