You see exactly what Hawk fans have dealt with all season. Brian Ferentz is basically auditioning for his next job and he trots out the most unimaginative offense you'll ever watch. This defense will be exhausted midway through the second quarter.

Ugly, Ugly Football. Nobody is going to want to see this offense in the playoffs.

Floriday State not helping themselves to stay in the top 4.

LOL... They just said that in the 1st half there have been more Punts than 1st downs.
    11 Punts - 10 First downs.

It’s a really solid defensive unit that forces offenses to dink and dunk.

I seriously doubt Fla St gets in if this performance continues.

It is funny I thought that the expanded Playoffs next year is a direct result of more and more Healthy players every year opting out of playing in normal Bowl games.

And now, No Idea what this does to players with NIL contracts; do they get more for playing extra games, or have to give some money back if they are a healthy scratch?

The chaos scenario has unfolded. Here is my prediction:

    1. Michigan
    2. Washington
    3. FSU
    4. Alabama

The committee has to deal with (3) arguments for deciding between (2) teams. First, the fact that FSU was an undefeated 13-0 power conference champion will be decision #1. With a 3rd string QB they won by 10, ugly though it may have been. FSU is in. Then they have to decide whether to prioritize putting in the SEC champ or Texas’ head to head advantage over Alabama. I think the pressure over putting in the SEC champ will win out over the head to head. Better to piss off Texas fans than the whole South lol. That’s my prediction and what I would do. I may shuffle Alabama and FSU as the 3rd and 4th seeds, but that’s my final 4 as well.

In a report and interview on Dan Patrick some dude said this is not supposed to be in the discussion, injuries happen. That said=you know ESPN and the NCAA and all the cohorts want the best ratings.
I guess we will see when it is announced, but it has been and continues to be a farce. I am no Texas fan, but in the poll they are above Alabama because they beat them, then are left out because Alabama barely beats Ga and on at least one 4th down play that should have been overturned? It's not even the play, it is what it is and that's the money, the contracts (ESPN), tradition, will likely make the decision. Hell you can even make the argument for Georgia or Ohio State, Saban states "we are not the same team that lost to Texas", well you did and the other teams have one loss as well. Looking at the list, expanding the play offs will at least lesson the arguments on who should be in.

Maybe it will lessen the arguments about who should be in, and maybe it will just push those arguments down to the teams fighting for the 11th and 12th spots. I’d LOVE for Texas to get in over Alabama because of the head to head, but I can’t see leaving the SEC out of the picture entirely.

All I can say is if they don't put a SEC team in is......Well finally another conference gets a chance to win the Championship, and they can tell everyone how they finally won because they didn't have to face a SEC school.

I'd have to go Michigan, Washington, Alabama, Texas. If Texas is left out I'll be annoyed. And if both SEC teams get in in GA and ALABAMA I'll also be annoyed. To me FSU is clearly not one of 4 best teams and sorry but bye.

Notice. SEC fans don't care if they let in 2 BiG 10 schools, or any other conferences, but the other conferences care that they let in the SEC. Now ask Yourself why. :hmm: If they truly believe that those teams are better....why worry.:hmm: I know that the SEC fans don't.
I tell You why.....because they have watched for 20 years... thinking every year that this was the year, and then realized when they played the SEC....they weren't as good as they thought. People going on about a Texas game that happened in September. LoL. Like any team is the same from back in September. This is December.

They are not supposed to make a decision based on injuries, but guess they did, but they had a CYA with every team being a conference champ, and certainly can make the argument about strength of schedules. It just seems wrong to include a team already beaten by the team above them in the final 4.

I would love to know who voted on the Committe to keep Florida State out. Or is the committe just a bunch of TV guy guessing who brings the highest ratings?
