The Carolina Panthers just fired Frank Reich after a 1-10 start. I wonder what their record would be if they used their first pick on CJ Stroud instead of Bryce Young.

And people thought Jerry Jones was bad, this former minority Steeler owner who could buy and sell Jerry Jones
is very demanding. I am not sure who could work for him. Frank Reich is probably better off getting fired. I am sure
Frank will catch on with another team if he wants too, please not the Steelers.

Probably about the same, they have absolutely nothing to work with. They did not get the first pick for nothing and have no stable leadership.

Bears are sitting pretty at the overall #1 pick from Carolina this year. They should have 2 Top-5 picks in the 2024 draft.

I wonder how much Frank Reich had to do with Carolina trading up? I still think that move was more an Owner's decision than a Head Coach's

Funny, Frank must hate November; Fired from Indianapolis on November 7th, 2022 and Fired from Carolina on November 27th, 2023.

Panthers Owner David Tepper Has Furious Tirade Before Firing Frank Reich

Hey Panther fans, it's time for this season's commemorative DVD: The 2023 Carolina Panthers: F--k.

trading up IDK, but everything I have heard (for what that is worth) is Brice was going to get picked (by Tepper) no discussion needed. Say what you want about the Rooney style, and at times it might be better to intervene more, but working for this guy would be a nightmare. What good HC, or upcoming coordinator would want to venture into that mess, career killer.

Ryan Clark said today that the Panthers have had 6 head coaches in the last 6 years. The Steelers have had 6 head coaches in the last 66 years.

It sounds like the perfect place for Josh McDaniels. :)

I don't agree....who did CJ have??? Hell until He started at Qb nobody He's throwing to, or the Guys blocking for Him have ever been considered great. Some Qbs are tractors, and some are trailers.

The Panthers are really dumb to give up all those picks and WR Moore to draft a small QB at #1.

Hate to tell them but hedge fund managers are not 100% right. They have 53% survival rate.

If you really believe that Carolina is a better or equal program to Texas, then I don't know what else to say.

Easy to say that, but he was considered to be the top pick by most people. Drew Brees was thought to be too small as well

True and I remember the Jets getting high QB picks that they ruined before their rookie contracts ended. Some clubs are and have been run like garbage. Even when Carolina had Newton, they failed to build the program and have been in a free fall ever since.

A lot of people also liked Stroud better, there are reports Reich wanted to draft Stroud, and the owner wanted to draft Young.

Yes I believe Texans are a less team than Carolina. This is the same team 90% percent of people said D. Watson must leave because they were the worst run organization from top to bottom, but now that they have a real Qb they have now changed their minds. Just like Bengals...a total laughing stock....until they got a real Qb....now everyone forgot. Hell there are many on here , and in the media that said Carolina was the dark horse team this year. Some have short memories.

This is the banner , or flag that all people that are fans of Qbs say, and fly when they fail. Tell Me .....who are all the great players that CJ Stroud had???.Don't give Me what they are now.....give Me what they were before He got there. Some Qbs are tractors, and some are trailers.

You're completely delusional if you don't think that players can grow together. Whether a WR was great prior to the arrival of Stroud is irrelevant. Tank Dell wasn't even on the team last year, but he's playing incredible. A QB can't make a WR any more than a WR can't make a QB. They both have to play well.

That doesn't even take into account coaching. Young has been in shotgun like 90% of the time. If you don't think that negatively affected him, well I don't know what to tell you. The coaches have hung him out to dry.

A franchise can be poorly run but still be successful on the field. It's not as likely of course, but it's more than possible. Stroud is playing great. He looks like he has a great career ahead of him. The Texans are in a far better place personnel and coaching wise than the Panthers are. It's not like it's just Stroud vs Young.

The majority of people had Young over Stroud. Only time will tell if Carolina made the wrong pick. it's far too early to claim anything of the sort
