The first 15 plays will be telling

As the first 15 plays or so are scripted, any changes to the offense should show up early. I am looking for:

• A heavy dose of Warren
• At least two passes to Pickens
• One pass to Muth in the middle of the field
• At least one long pass
• No jet sweeps

I don’t even care that much that all of these are successful, just want to see some changes.

I hope it will take less that 5 drives to have 15 plays on offense....

 

Rain is expected so maybe we won't see them open it up. Warren should have a solid day.

 

Though there's a change to the person making the calls, Pickett doesn't expect a dramatic shift in the offense with quarterback coach Mike Sullivan on the headset Sunday. Running backs coach Eddie Faulkner will take over various weekly offensive coordinator duties.

"You can't have wholesale changes at this point in the season," Pickett said. "We're going to run the system that we've been using, and Coach Sully, Coach Faulk, they're going to put their wrinkle in on it, on what they want to run and when they want to run it."

Of course only 16 points(it would been 23 if Tomlin would challenged the TD of Johnson) but over 400 offensive yards and they scored in each of the 3 drives in the second half.They had great ball control all game long
