Najee’s comments after the game were interesting to say the least. You could tell he wanted to say more but was holding back. Not sure if he was talking about Canada or Pickett when he said he was “tired of this ****”. He also said things could be fixed, but nothing will change. Tomlin has lost this team!

I don't see any evidence that Tomlin has lost the team, but I think those comments were about Canada and Pickett. I think most of it was Canada's lousy game-planning, but Pickett checking down rather than taking shots down the field is probably a part of that.

Consistently getting tackled behind the line will get you chippy if you are a running back. A coach's primary job is to put his players in a position to succeed. We do the opposite way too often.

The gameplan is trash but I see Warren getting tackled behind the LOS much less frequently than Najee. Warren is running behind the same line in the same offense.

Once teams begin to gameplan for him, you will, unless the playcalling changes drastically.

No doubt. Depending on herculean efforts is not putting your players in positions to succeed. Warren seems better at that, and I don't know if there are any differences in the plays called for the two players, and it doesn't matter.

From the article quoted. "Is it fixable? Yeah," he said. "Are we going to fix it? Sh!t ..."

    W
hat did he say in the "...". His sentence starts with "Sh!t" and then goes where? "...I don't know", or "... with Matt Canda F!!! No."

Najee sounds like a guy that is frustrated that this offense has struggled to move the ball and score points for over a season and a half now. He is also probably upset that his touches are starting to go down as he is getting run out of his job because an undrafted guy has massively out performed him. Lots to be upset about if you're Najee.

This is true... but the play calling is also different when Warren is in. Najee had 11 for 40 at one point

Most of his runs come on obvious run downs.. when Warren is there the defense has to play both run and pass

    Lets self scout

    2nd and 18 from Pit 1 and 10
    Left guard 0 yards

    2nd and 4 from Pit 31 shotgun
    Left guard 5 yards

    1st and 10. From Pit 15
    Up middle 9 yards

    1st and 10 from Pit 33
    Right guard 5 yards

    1st and 10 from Pit 43
    Left end 4 yards

    Halftime

    1st and 10 from Pit 25 shotgun
    Left guard 1 yard

    2nd and 3 from Pit 20
    Right guard negative 1 yard

    1st and 10 from Pit 30
    Right guard negative 3

    2nd and 10 Pit 23
    Right end 2 yards

    1sr and 10 CLE 49
    Right guard 1 yard

    3rd and 22 CLE 27 shotgun
    Right guard for 17

    2nd and 10 CLE 40
    Left guard minus 5

4 carried off Left guard 1 yard
5 carries off Right guard 21 yards
1 up middle for 9 yards
    1 Left end 4 yards
    1 Right end 2 yards

3 time he ran from shotgun 9 from under center

33 times dropped back to pass
    28 of them from shotgun

    21 run plays
    18 from under center

If they in shotgun is a pass 84%of time (not counting scrambles)

If they under center is a run 86%of tythe time

    That's not helping anyone

Najee can’t like seeing Warren taking over the lead role. He is a first rd pick losing out to an undrafted guy all these dudes have massive egos.

Najee was part of the "RB Roundtable" in discussions on how to get the position paid more. Now he's realizing he won't be getting paid that well if he loses his lead back role to a UDFA (not that Warren hasn't earned it due to stellar play). I'd be bitter too. He probably blames the OC and QB to an extent, even if he never says it.

I'm sure being outshined by Warren has him a little salty. It's just human nature.

I'm going to say he's a little salty because it's been the same sh$tshow offense for over two years. In a parallel, it's like my work. There are a few people that are so horrid, no work ethic and steal time daily. I ***** and complain, but nothing is ever done. They continue to clock in every morning and do the same crap. There I am busting my rump trying to make a difference. It gets damn frustrating to the point you speak out --- Najees comments.

When you play this style of football you paralyze the Team. If you asked honestly to the team members if you get down 14 points do you think you can comeback and I guarantee you it would be no. Sad team we have evolved into.

What’s even more frustrating is when you see less qualified individuals get promotions cause they check a bunch of boxes that HR sees a value for.

Isn't this the same thing that Okafor Benched? Even though his play should've put him there.
