I've already posted numbers and vids of what Mendenhall can do.

He's the better back, and he should have been starting from the moment he was healthy.

Last year, without playing the whole year, he scored one fourth of the teams TDs.

Yell about the "dancing" and lie about the fumbling "problem" all you people want to. The numbers are right in front of you.

Ben is an above average pro QB, but he is not elite. Elite QBs find a way to make it happen even when they don't have a run game. Ben has not proven he can do that. And this season serves as proof that he can't do that, yet. I think he knows this and doesn't like it. I noted the mocking tone in his voice, during his interview, when Mendenhall returned. He said something like, "Oh! The savior has returned!" He said it in a very facetious manner.

This team lost because they didn't have Mendenhall running.

and as far as saying ben isnt an elite Qb ... I would like to see brady manning's rogers put up bens numbers over the years with the o-line he has had to deal with...get a grip bro

Well, Rogers is playing behind an absolutely terrible O-line. He is constantlygetting pressured, hit and sacked. Their running game is as anemic as ours has been, his top WRs have been injured - yet he has that team heading into the playoffs on a high note. You theory about other elite QBs not being able to play behind our line is bogus. Charlie Batch beat the Ravens behind our line this year - to say Manning, Brady, Rogers etc could not is a bogus theory.

It's beyond bogus and is nothing more than excuse from people who clearly don't watch other teams play. Rodgers gets pressured just as much as Ben does, and their running game is just as bad, yet Rodgers carries his team to the playoffs and puts up top 5 numbers in the process. Rodgers has had a terrible Oline his whole career, but he gets rid of the ball very quickly. Ben makes our already terrible Oline look even worse than they are because he refuses to get rid of the ball quickly.

The Oline in NE is pretty bad this year too and was a huge question mark coming into this season. While they have the advantage of using the running game to alleviate some of the pressure, it only hides the fact they have a weak Oline, it doesn't make them better. Brady gets rid of the ball quickly.

Not to mention that Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Manning, etc. change the protection or the routes if they see that pressure is coming. Ben doesn't seem to do that nearly enough, or he's just not able to read the defence as well as those guys.

your out of your mind if you think that the packers and the patriots o-lines are as banged up as the steelers... did green bay have to change their all pro center to guard to get by? did they have to start a 3rd string rookie 7th round RT? Did they have a converted RT starting at Guard for the first time in his life? If you can answer yes then you can tell me the argument is bogus...but im pretty sure you cant..

and look what happened when the packers oline was struggling...the packers were vulnerable and rogers looked average...

You are dillusional...The Packers line has been in flux all year, similar to ours. They were starting a washed up Jeff Saturday at center, their starting RT is out for the season and they are on their second replacement, Saturday is now replaced by an undrafted guy, their left guard spot has seen backups. Only their LT and RG have played each game (similar to us). Rogers has been sacked 46 time so far this year - 11 more times than Steeler QBs (and that include 2 old guys who started and were sitting ducks). Rogers is very elusive and moves scrambles well, he is good at reading defenses and does it quickly. His line fails in protection and they can't run the ball either. I say Ben would get killed behind Green Bay's line, and Rogers would be hit less behind our line.

yes both lines you are talking about have had to move guys all over the place. it started back in camp for them, but their coaches were smart enough to move these guys around in preseason and get them used to playing other positions when it didn't count.

rodgers is on pace for a record sack year. they have taken PS players and made them fit in. they are both still in the playoffs this year too. it's right out there for you to look up.

moving colon to guard is on our coaches and front office. they knew from camp that he wasen't cutting it but they gave his slow dumb ass to big of a contract and are stuck with him. your argument is woefully flawed in this one.

ben gets pressure because he doesn't know presnap where he's going to attack the defense as quickly as these other two qb's with just as bad of lines. our line is our staffs doings, and has been for years. ben not rising above it is on ben.

As far as Ben not being Elite

Ben is Top 5 in YPA all time! This some argue is the most important stat for a QB!! guess what 3 of the others played 50 years ago...

He is #9 all time QB Rating!

He has 2 Super Bowl Wins 3 Appearances

He is 4th all time for a starting QB for winning %

He has 30 4thQ Comebacks or Game winning Drives 3 in the playoffs and 1 in a super bowl

Currently 39th on the all time yardage list and will probably be top 10 when he is done...

If this is not HOF ELite Material IDK what is...

He had a bad 3 game stretch after he dislocated a rib...

Rodgers being sacked so much speaks volumes about how much better Ben is then everyone else at eluding the rush. As for Rodgers having his team in position for the playoffs, he didn't miss 3 games with a serious injury, we were 6-3 before that but no one wants to talk about that. Does anyone really believe we wouldn't have made the playoffs if Ben had not gotten hurt?

i don't know. we are now 7-8. we won one of the games he was out and the defense has played well since he's been back. we needed to win one game to lock it up. charlie won the 7th game.

Ben wasn't right after he came back either, he didn't resemble anything like the QB in the first half of the season. I think he had 1 good game and 2 really dreadful games, as we all know I can't lay it all on him though, lots of botched plays in there as well that had nothing to do with him.
