My stats are simple. Ws vs Ls.

I know, know I’m a simpleton and there’s a bunch bothering me. But, at the end of the day those are my stats. And I think literally the opposing coaches that have gone up against us are simpletons like myself. I can hear them saying, “How the (expletive deleted) did we lose that one? But we did.”
I can also see the the rest of the NFL saying, “OK, what are they doing, how do we stop it, and can we do it too” That’s just the way the league rolls, it’s a copy cat league.
And with all that stated, it comes down to design from a leadership POV. Like him or not I have to give Tomlin the W here. He’s managed to design a way that both relies on eliminating mistakes while taking advantage of your opposition’s mistakes. It’s ugly but effective. At least for this part of the season. The question is, can it be effective post season? History says naught. I think we’re going to get a chance to see…

Yeah not very on this. There is no 11-0 team that is worse. What You seem to be forgetting is all the injuries that led to the 1-4 outcome. The best team in the league right now....would not make the SB with all the injuries at those key positions we had, and that is not even counting the schedule changes we had to do more than one time so the other teams could play.

Makes me hate talking heads on TV. Just using me to get ratings. Saying anything to get ratings. Disgusting.

If we're the only 11-0 team, aren't we both the Best 11-0 team in the NFL and the Worst 11-0 team in the NFL?

Are there any.....ANY........ talking heads worth watching? Pregame or Postgame? I don't know of any.

I used to watch Ron Jaworski explain plays on ESPN because I learned something, but that was it. The others aren't worth watching and sometimes give me a headache.

    You like any?

so, to say that we were the worst 11-0 team in history, which I said at the time too, there is NOTHING wrong with that.

it was, in fact and hindsight, true.

it was smoke, mirrors, luck, soft schedule - and we saw how awful we really were when it was all said and done that season.

for an 11-0 team, we were HARDLY a world beater and dominant. at 11-0, I thought there were 5-6 better teams than us at that point in the season - we just had not played them.

These days I don't watch much of those talking heads on tv, I would rather listen to football podcasts.

You could actually do this for the Ravens.
Vs.... Texans : played a rookie Qb in his very 1st NFL start.
VS... the Bengals... played a banged up ,and injured Burrow.
VS ...the Colts played a back up Qb, and lost..
Vs ...the Browns...not only played a 3rd string Qb, but He didn't even know He was starting till a hour before the game.
    VS... the Steelers...lost
VS... Tennessee...played Tanahill, and Malik Willis
    VS.... Lions no excuses
    VS ....Cardinals played J. Dobbs
Vs... Seahawks...played a should be backup.
    VS... Browns....got beat
VS... Bengals played Burrow for only one half.
Looks a lot of the same.

You are entitled to your opinion. Smoke and mirrors? Teams don't win 11 in a row based on smoke and mirrors. This is where you fail as a student. You have hindsight in your back pocket.

You probably believe that the Pats were the worst 18-1 team in the history of the NFL.

I think that the Steelers having a team to start a season 11-0 for the 1st time in franchise history would a point of pride for fans.

I run into NEGATIVE thinking fans like you and I realize that some fans "are what they are". I can only say that I evolved as a sports fan. It's not championship win or bust for me. I recognize accomplishments even if the ultimate goal isn't achieved.

11-0 to start an NFL season is rare. Be proud of the rare accomplishment.

I was proud of it - it was fun, exciting - I was just not surprised at the collapse. and this facade at 6-3, we are not that good, well - now 6-4 and fading....

And yet if they beat the Bengals without Burrow Sunday they are 7-4. Simply amazing really at how bad we are and the type of record we could have.
