P.J Walker will be the starter for the Browns vs steelers(and the rest of the year)

It's very possible we lose against the Browns but it will be because of the running game and the defense of the Browns not because of Walker..Our chances are better with Walker now....Brissett played well for the Browns last year too

 

I don't remember seeing Huntley play well against us...Brissett was good for the browns last year and when we played against Flacco since 2019?

The ravens won the game because of their running game and Trubisky....Huntley was a non factor and he did not play in the entire game too....Wilson was the Jets QB last year vs us but yeah this game were awful by the defense in the fourth quarter...Just awful!

 

I'd rather the Steelers face PJ Walker than some unknown rookie. Thompson-Robinson will look like Dan Marino in his prime against us.

Example #1 why teams should not give these insane contracts. There should be a clause to drastically reduce the money if the player cannot perform in any capacity while not being on the field. Why pay millions to a China Doll? Sure injuries happen but what a total waste of money the team has to shell out now. I personally have to have shoulder surgery next month and guess what? My short term disability only pays me 50%. Should be the same for these overpaid athletes.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson had a great preseason, which is part of why they stupidly traded Dobbs. I'm still not convinced he is going to be even a good NFL starter for more than a few games, but Dobbs is clearly better than the Browns' current options.

Thompson-Robinson started in a 28-3 loss to the Ravens. He is athletic enough that we may see some designed runs. He's got a strong arm, but he does not take care of the football. That was even an issue for him at UCLA.

 

We will prep for the new dynamic in Cleveland. We will spend the week going heavy on run defense. When we play Cleveland, we will take a bit off of Chubb, but he will still gash us. The downside is that we will spend so much effort on Chubb that we will watch 15 yard passes to the middle of the field all day long. At the end of the day, PJ Walker (or Robinson) will have his best ever game in the NFL.........my prediction.

 

I expect a Steady diet of Ford and Hunt. I think we should counter with Najee and Warren about 40 times. The Browns have the #1 passing defense. Top10 rushing defense, but not #1.

Kareem Hunt will gash our defense then......lol Doesn't really matter who it is, our run defense sucks. Our pass defense in the center of the field sucks. Expect those areas to be attacked.

Thompson-Robinson is a great athlete, I'm sure the Browns will have a lot of designed runs for him. The Steelers just have to keep doing what they do (or don't do). Don't turn the ball over, don't have any special team mistakes, no break downs on defense that allow a broken play to turn into a TD. Just play conservatively and wait for the Browns rookie QB to make a critical mistake.
