Looks like they don't have enough talent on offense or the scheme to maximize what they have, unfortunately.

Unless there is something bigger to find, this amounts to a couple game suspension for Harbaugh and a 10 grand fine. I have no doubt Harbaugh knew something, the cover up is actually worse than the crime so to speak, but if it is 'stealing' signals and the charges hold up that other schools were as well. then it amounts to an ambiguous rule on sportsmanship that probably every team stretches. So far the NCAA has given it back to the Big 10, and their penalty is what was written, so again unless something bigger comes up its more media just writing to make themselves pertinent.

 

The PSU D seems legit, as you say the O just does not seem to have the scheme or maturity to pull off surprises against superior teams. Allar could develop into a real prospect, but he still seems to be in that not quite there stage, lol.

I got up early to get coffee and radio dudes were saying Michigan were waiting on a Judge to see if he would pot an injunction on the suspension. IDK how much that really matters, Michigan players might rise up as us against the big ten, or the stress may be enough for PSU to get some energy. They said Michigan has only played the 116 toughest schedule this year, PSU cannot be that much higher (if at all). Home field and the 'white out" may make a difference, but I think the depth and trenches on both side favor Michigan as the game wears on.

 

PSU offense attack is putrid, They would be wise to give the ball to their 2 best players
at RB about 40 times and play smash mouth football. Their only chance. I am really looking forward to the Ole Miss game, go Rebels.

Question for the board. Why did Franklin go for 2 after the TD making the score 24-15? Kick the PAT puts him down 8, with hope. Down 9 at that point and hope is lost. I think missing on that killed every bit of momentum PSU had just won. I don't know his thinking there. Anyone?

 

And PSU extended him for 70 million he is like 4-16 against top flight teams. There about as dumb as Pitt is. Big difference PSU has many 4 and 5 star athletes on it's roster.

Against top flight teams is crap. I guess PSU is happy with 10-2 and no playoffs? Maybe they are waiting on the expanded playoff field? Many 4/5 star players on this roster.
