Why is it oddly specific. Because it doesn't fit Your narrative???
They are both RBs. Yet one RB (Najee's) has misdirections plays so Warren can get the ball, but the other RB (Warren) doesn't have misdirection plays so Najee can get the ball. They both have misdirection plays by other players, but only one RB(Najee)is bringing misdirection for the other RB (Warren).

I don't care what some lame website has to say, I'm worried about Porter and the penalties, he can't be that handsy on the opponents final drive. That game should've been over sooner but his penalty gave the Titans a second chance.

That is why it work for Jaylen to power it in off of that, he is explosive the defense naturally/instinctively reacts to najee. Its like the old play where the full back gets the hand off when everyone is expecting the tailback to get it. its so quick and before they react he's in the end zone. Just lining up a single back set with najee against a good defensive line with how inconsistent our line has been isn't great in the red zone.

Watch that play again. If any penalty was going to be called, it should have been against Hopkins for pushing off. Even some national analysts said that was a lousy call, so I certainly can't blame Porter for it.

No, actually, the Giants having -9 net yards passing last week was pathetic. 160 yards passing with 166 yards rushing ain't terrible. And with 0 sacks and 0 interceptions, you'll win a lot of games if you have a decent defense.

Porter will be fine; penalties included. Part of developing into the NFL. Very seldom do Rookies ever exit their first season without any; doubly so a position like Corner.

What should be celebrated is the fact that the Steelers long, and I mean LONG search of finding a CB may finally be over. Whatever shortcomings Peezy Jr has will have to be taken along with the good outings he has. Nothing more to it than that.

Side note: Given how you sometimes use those very same lame websites when accentuating points you like to contribute to the topic at hand, a bit hypocritical, no?! :hmm:

No other coach in the league would have a winning record with such a poor point and yard differential. He gets the most out of the team and his players despite a terrible secondary and weak offensive line. Maybe you'd rather have Josh McDaniels?

Well, if we're going to pick nits then we should at least acknowledge that the Giants had to throw their 3rd string rookie in cold against maybe one of the best defenses in the NFL after Tyrod got hurt on only 7 attempts. This is without their leading receiver leaving the game as well (D. Waller). Excuses suck, but at least compare apples to apples.
KFP in year 2 with a legit WR core and healthy offense (minus Muth), only manage to scrape out 160 passing yards against the 20th ranked overall defense, and 17th in pass defense allowing an average of 223 yards passing a game. At home, against a backup rookie. Sorry, but that's not impressive.
The guy was not good for much of that game, he even said as much himself and the stats bear that out.
I am glad they won, and I'm happy that KFP got some redemption in the 4th quarter again but there needs to be drastic improvement for this team to get to where they (and we) want to be.

I thought I was going crazy. Bobby April hasn't been our ST coach since 1995. hasn't coached anywhere since LSU in 2017. until you posted your correction, i thought my medication must be making me dizzy or something.
BTW, what does wrigley have to do with bobby april?

    Agreed

But you can probably coach a handsy player easier than one with no coverage skills

The other penalties are legit on JPJ, but that last one wasn't. If a Wr starts hand fighting the DBs are allowed the same. It could very easily been called the other way against Hopkins.

After this win I don't know if the credit goes to Canada or Pickett for another "Played good enough to win" performance.

    neither

hand the game ball to the OLINE and Jaylen Warren

and luckily, we played a rookie QB, start 2 and a banged up opponent.

15 yarder penalty on Jones - Boz was kicking off from maybe the 25?

OK I now understand that short kick but what about the others? Fortunately the receiver called a FC each time. Seemed un-Boz like unless Danny saw something on tape that called for short kicks.

I did my research on that and I'd rather stick to Prilosec. I need my bones for Golf and long term use of Aciphex can result in weakening of the bones.

The refs are more likely to throw the flag on a rookie who's handsy, than a savvy veteran like Hopkins in that situation.
