Steelers and Trade Deadline

    I guess we all hope Khan pulls another one like dumping Claypool. If the Steelers do anything by Tuesday I believe it will be something to do with our secondary. No idea what is out there but I feel they will want to shore it up.

    What say you??

    It will be very quiet this year....Last year the steelers were 2-6 when they trade Claypool...

    I agree that it will likely be quiet, but we could be buyers not sellers, especially if we win today at get to 5-2. Our need at corner is absolutely glaring.

    Trade Tomlin please !!! Let one of these teams give up couple of first rounders they would never do it cause Tomlin sucks lucky to get 6 th rounder

    The Vikings may need a QB but what would they do with what’s on staff here?

    maybe Trib due to Division familiarity.

    Keep the picks. After seeing Pickett regress yet again in the 1st half, I’m thinking there’s a good chance we may need to dip into the QB well again. I’ve been feeling that way much of the year, and then last week I thought “maybe.” But I’m just not seeing it though.

    Wouldn't shock me if the Steelers did dip into the well. Question remains what round?! Guess the remainder of 2023 will have to give that answer for us.

    he could, what does he have - 1 more year left? he is going to play us like Ike Taylor did. We seem to now find ourselves in a desperate WR situation, w no where to turn, like w did at the end of Ike's contract. The well is dry, far from sold on Austin as heir apparent and we know the offense is out sync completely when DJ is not in there. a conundrum.

    I certainly get the thoughts on Pickett but what if they package a bunch of picks to move up to pick a QB who doesn't pan out 2 years after picking one in the first? Pretty big gamble and they had better be certain that they think Pickett will never be what they want him to be.

    But did you know football is different?

    I’m not sold on KFP yet. I want him to be our guy…so I’d hold onto him and see how the offense performs under a new OC.

    add injuries to an already badly coached team and these are the results. we got an azz whoopin, one chip at a time with no answer for any of it in all 3 phases of the game. very hard to watch. :cool:
