I am not a fan of sausage but about an hour ago I was reading one of those psychological thrillers with a shocking twist, as they like to say and the wife was making a "Sausage Casserole":)** Most the writers I like in that genre are English men and women. I bet I've read well over 70-80 and when it comes time for "tea" sausage is always on the menu.

** By the way the wife is a evil women and a killer. She is in the London area so be careful if you go;)

That's funny. After taking my beer out of freezer for 25 not 22 minutes because of you my wife has to have the first sip. She loves the ice coldness of it. I say, "do you want a full one". She says, "no I just like a little sip". Then I get it back and it's half empty.

I see that your fish tacos are somewhat maligned here!
Back when I was not vegetarian, I had fish tacos in The Bahamas. They were quite good! Also saw them in many places in Playa Del Carmen while living there.
Lionfish are an invasive species in the Caribbean, and next time I make it down to Grand Bahama I will break my vegetarianism to catch lionfish and eat them. They have poison spines, but if you cut those off you can fillet them like any other fish. Eat ‘em to Beat ‘em!

If a place has fish and/or shrimp tacos that's what I'm getting most times.
I've caught Lionfish while jigging for cod, they are nearly as coveted. Wolffish too, delicious.

Yes its always for 'tea'. Im having a mixture of cumberland and tomato sausages in this casserole. Nothing laced with arsenic thankfully.

FYI Pretty much everyone in the London area is a killer from my experience. Their should be enough material in that city for your next 80 books.

Iguanas are another invasive species, you can take all you want with air rifle or bow and arrow. In Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area it is a catastrophe! The tail is supposedly the good part. I call it filet miguana.
Anyone in the Miami area up for making iguana tail for a game day meal, and sharing pictures?

It's delicious Monkfish I'm thinking of while cod fishing, not Lionfish.
I've had and enjoyed Lionfish also.

I never knew anything about iguana and Florida. I was on the only Golf course in Key West and I heard gunshots. Must admit, I got very nervous. I asked the guy I was with what we should do and he just laughed and explained that his neighbors were hunting dinner. Still was in the dark and he took me to the fence lining the course and I was shocked. Had to be 30-40 big and small iguana's and there were 2 guys firing at them. I thought they were regular guns but I guess not.

I had it in Puerto Morales, Mexico and man that was good. I'm not big on seafood but loved it. Really cool how they catch them. (not commercial fishing) I was shocked watching them. They put a long strong rope tied to a large three fish hook thingy and start walking along the beach until they see them. Then they throw it ahead of the 5-6 swimming together and damn if they don't pull in a lot. They then sell to local food places.

They have no natural enemies there and dig burrows into the walls of canals, weakening them. Was down in Miami two years ago and they were all over the place. I didn’t see any in Key West but the feral chickens are all over.

Diving in the Bahamas I saw them all over the reefs, displacing the natural reef fish. You can take all you want, but not with a spear gun. There is no shortage, every time I go there, there are more. They use a Hawaiian sling, which is a bigass spear with a giant rubber band attached to propel it. They put the lionfish in a plastic paint can with star shaped cuts in the lid so you can insert the spear and pull it out, leaving the lionfish in there.
Incidentally, they are trying to train sharks to eat lionfish.
There are YouTube videos on how to safely remove the spines.
Come on, one of us has to cook lionfish for a Steeler game!

Must admit I dug the chickens being everywhere. Would I want to have that in my community, hell no but sure got a kick out of it down there. They actually called the road department to get a manhole cover off to save some baby chicks. Was right outside our motel. Took them a good two hours and they blocked traffic. Kind of odd knowing we eat the hell out of them but they spend time and money saving them.

    Neither—forgot to ask.

Clearly, that’s why the Steelers won. No condiments henceforth!
