Sorry, I could not find if the Steelers had released their inactives for the Los Angeles game yet?

    Is Mcfarland getting a helmet?

Are they going to elevate Rodney Williams again. (I think PS Players can only be elevated 2 times in a season)

I've never seen inactive lists the day before a game. Expect that on game day.

I think you mean activations from IR. I know Johnson is back, taking Freiermuth's spot. I would be surprised to see them go with only the two tight ends, especially because they use Heyward at other positions. Olszewski's spot is open for one of them. Someone else would have to go for the other.

Inactive list is generally 90 minutes before kickoff. McFarland still on IR and Muth now there as well (waste of a 2nd round pick)

I wouldn't say waste he is a talent and has shown this previous. But the concussions and now with a major hamstring issue might not see much of him this season. He is signed through 2024. I feel they are going to wait to see if he can have an injury free season before any decision is made to resign him.

Muth has not panned out to be what he was hyped to be, this is true. But he has not been a bad TE, and 'Baby Gronk'? Really? He is a pass catching/Y-type TE and should be used as such. Use him to move the chains and in the redzone. That's his game and he does that really well. He's not going to be an asset in the run game vs NFL DEs.

IF...The OL can slow AD just long enough...DJ, CA3, and Pickens can be great today. Just give KP time.

Muth isn’t even close to TJ come on now. His production has not been what a team would look for out of a second Rd TE.

Muth has more receiving yards in his first two seasons than Mark Bruener did in his first 8 and Bruener was a very good tight end and a first round pick

Muth's first 2 years pretty much equal Heath's, the injuries are concerning, but he is a weapon when used correctly.

Because teams can predict injuries.

Humphrey would have been better, but it’s not like Freiermuth isn’t a good player.

That is certainly a big part of the problem for all our offensive players but he’s a terrible blocker regardless.

I disagree on how good he is. He’s a decent receiving TE and a terrible blocking TE. Like usual this board greatly overstates Steelers players.

I think Muth is the only TE in NFL history to have 60 or more receptions in their first two seasons, his blocking needs to improve, but to say his production hasn't been good enough is false he had 7 TDs as a rookie.

This season looks like a waste however. Best ability is availability.

It's the NFL players get injured, Heyward and Diontae haven't helped the team this season either, Muth is still tied for the team in TDs .

Agreed, Muth is going to be alright and turn out to be one of the best TEs in the league.

He did some serious damage to his chest in the 49ers game, and should have taken a few games off. Now Steeler fans are ripping him for his play after the 49ers game, because the Steelers are keeping his injury a secret. DK was saying that Muth's injury was so bad he could barely breath or talk in the locker room after games.

I had to change my mind on missing out on Creed Humprey in the draft when I heard the story about how he was left handed. Andy Reid had Humprey change to snapping the ball with his right hand at the mini camps. Eventually Mahomes found out about this and told Creed to go back to snapping the ball with his left hand, and that he would get used to having a left-handed center.

I believe that Ben in his last year, would have gone the Andy Reid route and made Humprey change to his right hand. And, then you never know what that change may have done to his blocking ability.
