Yes, our division teams all won during our bye week. Everywhere you look, it says so.

So what?

That's beyond our control. Worry about what's IN our control and WIN going forward.

I've never seen so much whining about something that's not in our control. If we take care of business, it's irrelevant what teams in our div. do.

I agree with you 100%. But the Steelers have conditioned their fanbase to rely on other teams for about the last decade or so since we've been largely unable to take care of business ourselves. How many years have we been glued to the TV in week 17 hoping that the Jets could beat the Dolphins to get us in?

 

I hate that most of the Halloween candy that's out there now comes in such small portions.

Really, I hate the Steeler fans that come in small portions, or in some cases, the overly extra large portions.

 

It's the era we're in: the Art II and Tomlin era, where just not having "a losing" season is good enough. Cowher must cover his face. Not only do we struggle just to get in to the playoffs, we definitely struggle to "win" in the playoffs - 6 years going on 7.

Are you under the impression that the Steelers are going to win out? The other teams in the division are going to have to lose some games. The series of events that happened to allow the Browns to lose to the 49ers was incredible stuff. There is nothing wrong with acknowledging that it was a bad day for the Steelers.

I don't care how the team gets in, with or without help, as long as they are playing well enough at that point to do something with it. At least your take is reasonable on this. The hypocrisy of the OP, however, was comical.

 

At least give me the 1 full size KitKat stick in a pack. WTF is up with this bite size chit.
