I like my local Two Cousins, good pizza, nice selection of Italian items made by the Greek owners (in PC terms cultural appropriations in a splendid way), but have found while driving my work route Turkey Hill breakfast pizza slices quite tasty. Have to check out WaWa, that said eating a sausage parm 2 cuz sub, with sweet tater fries and a supberb side salad seems tasty for today's battle with ratbirds.

Last week my son asked to watch the game at a place called Arroga's sports bar. Eagles booths were packed, Steelers section had 4 people, was shocked by the game and a 70 dollar tab for 2 beers, one lousy cheesburger and 2 appetizers. Damn I love my team, but not there...lol.

Change of plans. My better half decided she wanted to go to Cracker Barrel.

    So, breakfast!

Now I'm thinking a CB breakfast/brunch with their sausage gravy might be just the ticket to get me through this game. Thank you wife, great inspiration! lol

When STD makes a pizza, just like his post alerts, he does not know when to stop!

Funny, I too was with all Eagle fans last week. Only Steeler fan in bar but the young guys were great and I didn't pay for any beer or food.

I tried for a quarter, but Canada was still in the booth so I protested by drinking a Sam Adams Autumn brew, not bad but 8 bucks for a draft caught me off guard, lol.

Honestly I was shocked, living in Lancaster it is closer to Philly, Baltimore, and even DC, but the Steeler flags are out in mass as well. I have seen a shift however, H'burg radio no longer has the steelers feed, and the Eagles success vs our suck has created this vortex in the force. I felt like I was surrounded by Ewoks worshiping C3P0, disgusting little runts, lol.

I’m updating this because sometimes you just stumble into something

We were drinking a beer in our parking garage looking down one level to Gold lot 1 parking lot and a bunch of people were tailgating and had 3 burners set up cooking and a lot of trays of food

My wife was asking one of the cooks what he was making and he invited her down so off she and her friend went and my buddy and I just watched

The tailgate turned out to be a retired Steeler and his wife sets this up once a year and 16-18 of the retired players friends from high school and college come up for one game a year from Louisiana

They invited my buddy and I down as well wonderful people

Among other things they were frying catfish and cooking gumbo

We joined them again after the game and ate again

They kept calling us TGP (the garage people) they even invited us to join them next year

12 years ago, on our second or third date, my love asked about anchovies on our pizza.
You don't toss a woman like that, no matter what.

Many moons ago on our first date my love called me a moron

I asked her if she wanted to try the slivered water chestnuts on my Dungeness crab so she did

Turns out it was actually garlic

I figured she could hold her own and I would keep her

It’s not common around here so I only had it once before and I remember it bring gritty from cornmeal

This might have had a finer meal and had some spice/seasoning

They had so much I even took a bowl to take home and none of it made the entire trip

Around here we fry Atlantic cod fish which I like but it doesn’t tend to be well used anywhere west of here

I read that goes back to the days of packing fish on ice in train cars and western PA was the limit

I have yet to eat any fish I don't like. When I lived in Chicago I would go to a Colored/Darker pigment owned bar on Friday nights so I could eat catfish, and hush puppies....because nobody else that I knew of served it. They would ask ....You are not from around here are You....LoL My Brother lives in Boston, and He said He has been craving it. LoL
