This was before the Balt. game, not sure what new happened during game did not seem like much. We will get most of these guys back for week 7, after bye. I say keep Jones in at LT, move Moore to RT if they want to keep him playing, Chuks stinks.

I don't see Cam being back yet, he had freaking surgery on groin no small thing. Maybe after week 9.

Also, have there been any updates on DJ?

I know he is eligible to come off IR for the next game, but is he ready to return?

I am just curious if both Pat and DJ will be back for the Rams game?

I still say Pat was injured in Week 1 against the 49ers and never played healthy in the next 3 games. These 2 players back healthy should be an immediate offensive jump that the Steelers need.

Thanks for taking the time Gents. Although never a good thing...having this happen early...I'd like to think that it put our depth to game speed test which can help later in the year.

On paper its awesome that our starters can come back...but not rushed to risk injury.

Wide receiver Diontae Johnson (hamstring) and running back Anthony McFarland (knee) are both eligible to return in Week 7 when the team takes on the Rams. Their practice windows open after the bye week, and according to Steelers Now , both players are targeting returns when the team gets back to the practice field.

If both players did return, the Steelers would add their top wide receiver back to the depth chart to help boost quarterback Kenny Pickett, who has found some success with George Pickens as his WR1 in the last four games.

As for McFarland, he'd give the Steelers a sense of comfort as a kick returner for the first time since his departure. In his absence, the team has utilized three players back there, but none have had much success.

The team also gave a hint that Pressley Harvin III will return to his punting duties after the bye week. After being elevated for the last two weeks to replace Harvin, who was dealing with a hamstring injury, the team has released practice squad punter Brad Wing.

Wing hitting the open market likely signals that Harvin is healthy enough to return after the bye, marking a third starter for Pittsburgh, who's getting healthy.

The team is still waiting on tight end Pat Freiermuth (hamstring), defensive tackle Cam Heyward (hamstring) and offensive tackle Dan Moore Jr. (knee). While Freiermuth is expected to miss 2-3 more weeks, and Heyward is expected to return until after Week 8, it's unknown when Moore's timeline is.

DJ was asked if he’d be ready for next week and responded, “hell yeah”. FWIW.

I hope all is well and you just got banged up a little bit and there is no major damage.

    Good luck.

TJ's finger is a concern. we have brought in backup depth. moore being down is concerning as well just if it's a depth concern. daniels? DJ? cam? austin? good week for a bye i guess.

It could certainly impact Watt's ability to use that hand, but he did finish the game with it jammed back in the socket and taped up.

It would certainly be great to see them come out of the bye with Johnson, Daniels, and Austin in the lineup. I haven't seen much about Moore's status. The earliest return date I've heard on Heyward is Week 8, so he is probably going to miss at least another game or two.

multiple torn ligaments was the worst part. as the soreness sets in and the healing starts i'm sure it's going to impact him somewhat. it almost has too. ouch! just probably touching it would be painful. hope for the best.

He didn't seem to favor it later in the game, but I imagine it was worse once the in-game adrenaline rush ended.
