I am torn on what the changes Mike Tomlin is going to make will be. I can't decide if it will be to change his socks, or change his underwear? Because I don't think that it will be anything of more substance than that.

After that debacle last night, maybe we can still get a 1st round pick for Tomlin from the Commies. :D

Tomlin: "Practicing in pads earlier in the week is only one component of enhancing the physicality of our preparation for the game. Another component of added physicality or lack there-of, is earlier this year the decision was made to switch to cotton jockstraps which were less irritant to the guys and more comfortable which contributed to the softness and lack of mental toughness. This week against the Ravens we are switching to chainmail jockstraps to elevate the the level of the physicality component of play."

With Canada's "We're not built to come back against big lead" comment it is like telling the players to just hit the showers and head home before halftime.

Based on the delayed plane trip stories apparently some of them don’t bother to hit the showers

But when Haley was OC Ben didn't seem to hold the ball as long, and take all those hits.

I knew that but people on here are telling how great Arians was it didn't help with Winston, maybe Brady deserves most of the credit for Tampa Bay winning that Super Bowl.

You can blame Tomlin for a lot of things but not 2019 IMO, they were one game from making the playoffs IIRC. Some fans forget how terrible Duck Hodges was at the end of that season 4 ints against the Bills, and 2 more ints against the Jets. People were saying he deserved COTY only if the team made the playoffs.

True for 2013 but in 2014, he had 18 interceptions in only 13 games in college, so he had regressed

True that Brady was the number 1 reason why they won the Super Bowl but Arians still had an impact...And Arians also had success with a very average roster in Arizona

Vacant Steeler Coaching office: Assistant Head Coach.

Mike Munchak would sure look good sitting in that empty office this year.

Mike Tomlin does not have to fire anyone. It is Addition by Addition. :)

Most of those seasons, the team didn't have a championship-caliber defense. Much of that was poor construction of the roster, though the loss of Shazier played a big role, too. The Bucs' championship team also had an outstanding defense.

this is true - Haley saved Ben's career. I did not think Ben was teachable....but he was w regard to this.

he has never deserved coach of the year.

they pissed it away for SEVERAL YEARS. that is when I knew Tomlin was just average - nothing close to top notch.

I think that was the reason for the switch to Haley from Arians to keep Ben upright longer as the pass plays of Arians were longer developing plays leading to Ben taking a pounding.

Anyone who expected real, significant, meaningful changes must have just started following the Steelers. Tomlin is as full of sh-t as politicians. The guy doesn't have a sincere bone in his entire f---g body. He's 100% bull sh--t.

Haley didn't save Ben's career. He might have extended Ben's career, and that's debatable.
