My son and I took about 6 hours to assemble these. The top one is a short barreled rifle. The ATF tag was 200 dollars. These are the steps I took to build to it.

    1. Buy an 80 percent lower or AR-15 stripped lower.
    2. Engrave the lower with identifying information.
    3. Get your fingerprints taken on ATF Fingerprint Card FD-258.
    4. Fill out an Application to Make and Register a Firearm (ATF Form 1).
    5. Build your AR pistol and enjoy it while you wait for the paperwork to clear.
    6. Receive your $200 Tax Stamp paperwork from the ATF.
    7. Convert your AR pistol into your own SBR!

The bottom one is a regular AR with a silencer atttached. It's my favorite of the ARs I own. Buying a suppressor was less work than getting the silencer registered with the ATF

I personally have no need for an AR but I love building stuff and admire your craftsmanship

How long did it take to get the tax stamp for suppressor?

I currently own one and have had a few in the past. I’ll be the first to admit they’re pretty useless, but they’re fun to shoot.

I have no need either. I just like building them and shooting them. Funnest rifle anywhere. The suppressor required me adjusting the gas properly so the ammo would feed and the suppressor would work best

I've no familiarity with that typical cartridge. I've read a little about it. Seems to have impressive ballistics

Form 1 is to create a weapon that is designated an nfa item. Form 4 is to transfer an nfa item from a creator to a trust or individual.
I went through my paperwork last night. It took around 270 days to get my form 4. The ATF has sped up their process a little lately.

I’ve shot variants of it (the M4 mostly).

if I ever move near the the country though, I’ve been eyeballing a 45-70 lever action.

There are far better options for self defense and hunting. Also no matter what the dimbulbs say it’s not worth a hill of beans vs a tyrannical government. I’ll let someone else play with their ar15 vs a trained military with planes, tanks, helicopters, drones, rockets…

Yes there are many better home defense options. I would mention, but I don't like to talk about what I do, or don't have online, or publicly
