I thought Tomlin doesn't live in his fears? He let the other team dictate what play to call despite all the BS he says about no fear, going to impose their will, the other team won't dictate, etc, etc, etc. Bunch of BS.

I really didn’t mind going for it vs the FG. I get that people wanted the Fg, but it was still 50 yds, so understand going for it.

If they had lined up under center, did play action and the pass failed, I wouldn’t be too critical.
if they lined up under center, and gave the ball to Najee and he got stuffed, I wouldn’t be too critical.
If they lined up under center, and did a QB sneak or tush push, I wouldn’t be too critical.

But they did none of that. So they need to bear the brunt of all the criticism they’re getting.

You falsely claimed that I argued they should run it with Haris, so no, I was not arguing with myself. I was pointing out something you wrote that was factually wrong. My point was never that the should have run Harris, though that would have been a better option than what they did run. My point was that the real issue was the formation. Putting Pickett under center with Harris behind them would have given the offense more options. It would have forced the defense to account for more options. Why is it so hard for you to understand that?

Yes, I teach students about straw man arguments. I could use the one you just made as an example. You wrote that it is incorrect to claim that no one was open, but no one was making that claim. By definition, that is a straw man argument. The term you were looking for was archaic, but it doesn't apply here. Surely you can do better than trying to distract people with such nonsense when you are caught in a logical fallacy.

What part of his eyes are on the rush instead of being down the field did you not understand?

Boswell is seven-for-seven on field goals so far this season and three of them were from 50-plus. Maybe not having Harvin to hold gave them pause, but I didn't hear Tomlin state that as a reason for the decision.

You are just arguing to argue. I never once said You said run Najee. I said people said. Stop. You are arguing for nothing. Believe Me teacher Man I know what a Strawman argument. I also know that it has become a popular term, like gaslighting since around 1999, and there are many other ways to represent what you are saying without being a sheep, and repeating what is a overused term. Do better.
It might impress students, but it's about as impressive as the woke term. Now stop arguing with Me.....especially since I don't really know what You are arguing about. AGAIN....I wouldn't have called the play, but AGAIN....There were people open on the play. I'm totally sure nobody ever taught KFP in any grade to bring his eyes down ,and look at the rush, and if they did they were idiots.

You have some proof he makes that much? I'm not sure even Belichick makes that much annually.

FORNEY, Texas -- The decision to call a pass play out of the shotgun on fourth-and-1 has left a lot of Steelers fans dumbfounded and down right angry. Believe it or not, it's even worse than you thought.

This implies that I'm arguing in favor of running Harris when my primary issue was the use of the shotgun, which made things far too easy on the Texans. Are you going to hide behind the use of "some people" and argue that wasn't directed at me even though it was in a response to me? Give it a rest.

Who said Pickett was taught to have his eyes down? It is a common mistake for quarterbacks who are too concerned about the pass rush to put their attention where it belongs.

There is nothing wrong with straw man argument. You just don't like that I caught you making one, so you are trying this nonsense.

I didn't get past implies. I never once said You said Najee....I said people said Najee. So I read no further. You are now arguing with yourself. I can't argue about something I didn't say ,or imply. It's ridiculous.
I still can't get past the ego of some People. When have I ever shied away from telling someone, anyone what I felt???....now this is twice this week I have been accused of talking to someone when I haven't said them, mentioned them, or quoted them. If I say some people.....I mean some people. If I mean You I have, and Have always said You.....when have I not???
Hell this is from a guy that uses His own picture as an avatar, and post videos of Himself playing music. I'm not intimated by anyone on here. If I mean You ....I say so. Enough. I didn't say You...I said other people, or some people....yet You keep saying I meant You. LoL

Thanks, that's Pig. He's also right around 110 pounds, and he's also the best dog ever.
The only dog I've met who can be left alone with nerf footballs.

    Pig

Be glad that 110 pounds with teeth doesn’t really know what you are calling him/her

Although I know a couple who named their female bulldog “Grunt”

He's a rescue. His govt name is Klaus.
The previous scumbags renamed him Pig when he was a pup so that's what he knows (and we love it).
We've had him for over a year and he's been perfect in every aspect, except he hates most dogs.
