Pickett’s ceiling is not high enough

Winner. Therefore a bad Qb is a bad Qb. It doesn't matter how well You coach them up. Yeah You may shine Him up a bit, but it won't change Him. If it did the Best OC in the game would have kept LT instead of Purdy.

 

A bad HC is a bad HC.

A bad OC is a bad OC.

A bad QB is a bad QB.

Pickett is a solid 3rd string QB AT BEST. He is already a 26 year old injury prone QB in his 2nd season and is showing no signs of improvement.

Now the Steelers need to decide on whether or not to proceed further with the 3 basic scabs in Pickett, Rudolph and Trubisky or make a trade for A QB.

Trevor Lawrence is not untouchable. He’d fit perfect in Pittsburgh…..

Not neccasarily. It's not that black and white, as all situations for a young QB aren't made equal. It's much more than just an OC, it's the run game, the defense, the skill positions etc

No situation would make a bad QB a great QB, but I think 99% of QB's would look a whole lot better in SF than In Pittsburgh right now. So that's why willing to give KP more time, because everything about his situation sucks balls.

 

This is how it's going to go come offseason:

- Tomlin gets an extension
- Tomlin doesn't resign Canada
- Tomlin hires another lame OC
- Next season is going to be a "learning" year for the new OC and Pickett and the new water boy
- Two seasons from now, Tomlin will say Pickett is the issue and the new-lame OC needs a better QB (like what they said about Canada/Ben)
- Three seasons from now, they will get a new QB
- First season with the new QB will be a "learning" year for the new OC and new QB and the water boy
- Go back to step 1, repeat

 

And pray tell what makes You think We don't have a bad Qb right now??

Mason also had arguably worse OL and running game. I am not anointing Mason as anything but he has thrown a good deep ball and showed good QB play before he got knocked out cold. Pickett has that one pass to Najee on a broken play, which was probably a lucky throw and going to the wide receiver running across. Pickett is the worst qb on the roster filled with backups.

 

A CB. I wanted to move up for Stroud this year. It's all in the draft board from that year. Although I've been behind Him since He was drafted. I want Him to be awesome, but no coach in the world can make You see open target, or make You throw correctly to the ones that are open. It's the whole reason Shanahan moved off of Jimmy G, and TL....yes He could win with them, but He couldn't win big with them. Same with McVay with His Qb....

What? Why are the Jags trading away their franchise QB. They're as likely to move him as the Chiefs are to move Mahomes.

 

Ask Jacksonville management. Lawrence has been on the trading block since his first season. I really believe the Steelers can pull off a solid trade for him. Especially if Jacksonville loses the next 3 games you’ll see the rumours start again.

 

Sorry I wasn’t specific enough. Pickett is a 25.4 year old QB that’s aging faster each week mediocre play.

Lawrence is always rumoured to be traded. Look it up and Pittsburgh should make a bid in a big way to make it happen.

There's still time for KP, this offense is abysmal. The o-line is terrible. The OC is a complete clown. Now compare that to SF it's night and day, so all I am saying is all situations are not the same.

I am discouraged no doubt but I have not yet given up, it is not only KP that has busted so far, Khan's off-season up to this point has done very little to improve the team.

Why. We can move up for OL, Lbs, but we can’t for a Qb. With Trubisky playing all last year we would automatically had a higher pick. No matter how bad KFP is playing. Trubisky is worse.

 

You know why, it's way too expensive to move all the way up there, plus you need a to find a team willing to drop all the way back, none of which ensures that you get the QB you want, unless you get #1 pick.

CJ Stroud was never going to happen.

 

Again. We would already had a higher draft pick if Trubisky played all Year. You , and I both know that. We wouldn't have even been over 500.

 

But we didn't. So Stroud was never on the cards.
