I know this term never will go away, It wlll constantly be beaten over our heads. Execution is “the” necessary ingredient in all tasks to be performed, and that’s 100% correct. I know execution or the lack there of will always be the one line item that will never go away and rightfully so.

So in the spirit of that I’d like to hear everyone’s thoughts on how to properly polish a turd?

I think even with proper execution it can’t be done. I’m a realist and can appreciate many things on all levels be em their deficiencies and or their accomplishments along with the proper avenues to either or. I also believe there are times that ya just gotta accept that fact that a turd is a turd and ain’t much you can do with that other than flush it or throw it out.

so how do we polish this turd?

By firing Canada in the next half hour and having better situational play calling with the current sh*tty play book.

    1st, you can't polish a turd.

2nd, execution becomes impossible for an offense when the defense also knows the play.

3rd, I'm just not a 'blow it up and quit on the season' kinda fan. You still go out there and do what the coaches ask each and every game. Give 100%, Put it all on them.

This what they have to do or it will get ugly at Heinz. That's the first band-aid. 4-1 shotgun was moronic and should be the tipping point! Otherwise just like the book, the Korean co-pilot knew they were dead and just let the pilot fly the plane into the mountain without saying a word!!

I agree whole heartedly even if they fire Cananda they’ll still use the same book maybe script it better perhaps but it’s still in the same wheelhouse. Too late for a blow up even 4 weeks in I get it. But Canada needs gone. You can’t polish a turd so while it turns white heading to December, we can hope some necessary change happens I suppose… especially come spring.

still, go Stillers n at and hopefully there is less Matt and some more magic to come along.

when the players have to go to the other players to try to fix problems, there is a problem from the top down.

If they don’t fire Canada this week or before the bye, they need to bring in a play caller to examine his horsesh!+ offense and use what plays they can from it. I get the whole “can’t change to a new offensive system mid-season” thing, but you gotta do something.

#2 is way off. Offensive lineman have been known to tell defenses what they’re doing and to try and stop it

The bolded portion of this statement while true, a competent OC would be designing plays every week that would work against the upcoming opponent and add them to the playbook. It is clear Canada does not understand how to attack defenses.

I don't think we have to execute both the OC and DC... just firing them should be good enough.

So if the D knows all of our plays.....why are people open???? They just like to make it fun, a better game, or what???
Again I didn't want Canada. I actually can't believe I have to keep saying that after My tirade when He was hired, but How will a different OC make a Qb see the open targets that He's not seeing now. You don't have to listen to anyone say anything. Just look at the all 22. There are people open , and not just here ,and there.

I am aware receivers are open. I am also aware Najee had a really good game running the ball. Are you aware that when we send a guy in motion that guy is either getting the ball himself or getting into position to block for the guy getting the ball? Watch it on the all22. Are you aware that when nobody goes in motion we have passed almost every time? That is on the all22 also. If I know what we are doing from my couch, so does the defense. I can't answer the why and where of your question, I'm not playing.

That not entirely true we have sent guy out ,and back many times to see if they are in man, or zone.
Again I'm just curious how teams know everything we are doing , and people are yet open all the time??? It would seem impossible.....NO????
