The Steelers next two games should be get right games for Pickett

Pickett had many in the national media thinking the same thing, they kept mentioning the end of last season and the preseason, I wasn't expecting him to be this bad.

 

That fire Canada nonsense isn't going to affect him calling games.

 

Fair enough, but he plays the most important position on the team.

 

That game against Houston might be tougher than we think, they're leading Jacksonville 14-0.

 

I really like their Qb. I believe He will be the 1st great Ohio State Qb in the NFL in as long as I can remember.

 

Based on the tape analysis earlier this week, it clearly shows KP seeing pressure before its there. Almost like a solider being shell shocked. Line needs to show consistent protection and Kenny has regain his poise in the pocket!!

 

No reason but a gut feeling and sadly the damn things been wrong before but I'm thinking the Steelers are 3-1 going into Ravens game who at the moment are 2 down. I think our O comes alive and we look like an NFL team.

Have trouble believing that all this caused by people watching tape. All those teams at the end of the year could have adjusted as well. In my view the offense is so dysfunctional that this is not caused by people adjusting. The look like they've never played together before and had zero spring practice.

 

Did You just see what the Browns did to (who many thunk is a very well coached) Tennessee Titans. D. Henry had 11 rushes for 20 yards, and they scored no points. Was it their coaching???

 

The Rats just lost to Gardner Minshew and the Colts lol. That means a Steeler win tonight puts your Pittsburgh Steelers in first place in the AFC North.

 

I don't care what the Browns did. They have a great defense. Which game this year did our offense play well? Can you can honestly say our offense is well coached? I only care about the Steelers. Kenny looks like he's never started in the NFL. So we'll see what happens tonight. If he struggles like he has in the past then we'll have a clearer understanding of just what he is

 

Just using comparisons. Thats all. I have heard that Titans have a great coaching on HC, DC, and OC. That's all. You know we just played them...so I'm trying to use a comparison. Like the comparison that some used about Najee not being a D. Henry this week. So what we are saying is some can use a comparison , but others can't???
Like Bienemy being a great OC, and their Offense not scoring a point this week, and their Qb throwing 4 ints. Was He not coached up???

 

Interestingly Merrill Hoge came down on the side that the OL is playing horrid and until that is fixed the offense goes nowhere. The tape analysis showed times KP had a receiver but he may just be so jittery now that he's reacting to pressure that isn't there, however it does seem at least one down of every 3 the line is breaking down quickly. So until that line is consistently making blocks in the run game and providing a clean pocket KP isn't going to get any better. Now throw in Coach Canada's seemingly bizarre calls or predictable calls and that doesn't help either. Hopefully tonight we see a start of some improvement. I wish Tomlin was an offensive coach because Coach Canada needs help.

 

Definitely. Houston are not near as bad as many thought they’d be and seem to be able to score points.

I wouldn’t be taking tonight for granted either for that matter. The Steelers can lose to anyone the way this offence is playing

 

We are 4-8 against the Raiders on the road and haven't won since 1995 so the money will be against us big time.

 

BTW remember when we used to only score 3 points on the opening drive all the time and others teams would score seven and we used to think our kicker would need a new leg by midseason. Can you imagine even having that problem right now, ha?

I agree, but strangely I have seen some fans expecting an automatic W because the Raiders look bad.

Raiders defence is putrid apart from Crosby so KP and the offence have no excuses if they can’t move the ball and get points on the board. Let’s hope they can get something going tonight.

 

Crazy I am watching the Chiefs and they just have guys wide open. Was watching the Jets earlier and it looked like our WR routes where each WR is blanketed. I don't do the tape analysis to see what they are doing vs what we are doing but man our WR's have seemingly have a DB glued to them on almost every route or they don't know how to sit down in the zone holes.

 

Scared to throw to anyone that isn't wide open and hesitates when ppl are open.

A lot easier to stack the box and to rush the passer when there is 0 threat of a pass.
