first thing i thought too machine. you made that poor girl drink IC. it's a wonder she married you. ofcourse back then there were only so many people to choose from. adam, eve.....jeh.....

 

A lot of people have brought this thought up over the years for a litany of reasons

And yet she has stuck with me

When we were dating many moons ago we went to meet her best friends mother in New Mexico

When we left her house I got on the mule first and she hugged her friends mom and got on laughing

I asked what was so funny

She said the mom whispered in her ear “you can do better”

Everytime I’m in trouble I bring this up

 

Last superbowl steelers played in I had IC shipped to Philly area for like $50. Should have bought it when I was in Pittsburgh. I will be buying a case next month when I go to the game just in case.

 

I drank Iron City because I lived near the brewery and had loyalty

When IC/Pittsburgh Brewing went bankrupt the sold to an out of state firm and started brewing out of Pittsburgh so I quit drinking it

They recently built a new brewery in the Pittsburgh area and I’ve started drinking it again

On a side note when it went bankrupt I tried selling some friends on the idea of us buying it but that didn’t fly and my wife flat out said no to me doing it on my own

 

I have 0 connection to it beyond I associate it with the steelers. Beer I now drink the most is workhorse which is a brewery in my town and where I do cornhole leagues. For anyone around Philly or lehigh valley I highly recommend it.

 

You and my brother-in-law do same thing. He gets a case every time he's back. I can drink IC light but not the real thing.

Can't remember movie but guy saw young man doing opies and told him, something like, don't do that at your age, wait until your old Kind of like that very old Aleve commercial where the old man takes one and starts skipping and hopping around. Hell after a round of golf I take like 40 Aleve's. Just kidding but in all seriousness two Aleve's is a great help to me. For past 20 years I've taken Osteo Bi-Flex and Turmeric as do most my golf friends. All I know is I really don't have much joint pain and I swing a golf club a lot during the week.

 

Any chance I could play you 10 bucks a hole, match play Golf

Goofing with ya but really glad you had success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd be devasted to be away from Golf that long. I hope to hell this operation won't stop you from whatever physical activity you enjoy.
