Vegas was never fooled by preseason hype. They had us in last place all offseason. I just did. Or think we would be in Caleb derby. We could be second worst team in league after giants. Worst offense in league again

I see we have yet another thread of hysterics. Also, Vegas didn't know the real reason the Steelers are in trouble right now. It wasn't one ugly loss. Last year's team had two of them and still came within a late field goal by the Dolphins of the playoffs. The issue is the injuries yesterday, which don't prove you or Vegas right.

I screwed that one up, so I'm editing it now. I forgot they opened with two at home. I'm guessing the Heyward news played a role in that one. The hype from the win over the Bengals helps, too, but man the Browns had a lot of help in that one. Burrow wasn't close to 100 percent and the weather favored the run-heavy offense.

They did last year, and the year before, and I believe 3rd the year before. People Vegas sets lines for how they think people will bet.....that will make them money. They are not oracles. LoL. Look at what they had a bunch of different things last year that wasn't even close to correct.

Steelers and browns are very similar. Bad qb and good defense and we are at home and desperate. We can win but I doubt it . Teams that played 49ers last years lost next week every week and injuries don’t help. Cleveland has cinncy number but are not a real threat to afc. Coin toss game

I believe We win . I don't think Watson has ever beaten us. Also We are usually good on Monday nights. Put it this way. I will be very surprised (even with the injuries, and what happened this Sunday) if We lost.

I won't, but not due to what happened yesterday. I think the loss of Heyward is an absolute killer against this particular opponent.

My point is that Vegas never bought overhype on Steelers in pre season. Vegas knows that as long as Canada is offense coordinator. The Steelers can only win one way. Super low scoring because we never break 17 point barrier ever because he sucks ass.

By all means, show us this evidence that someone in Vegas was thinking about Matt Canada when they made that prediction.

Not a shot at Heyward(I think He is awesome), but his weaknesses was the run game. I believe I will be more worried about his not pulling away help , and allowing Highsmith to be singled up. Notice how when He went out Highsmith went completely cold.

I forgot to mention the d sucked as well. Looked lost. One of most pathetic displays on all facets of game I have seen in a while. I am not overreacting. This is the same team I have watched for three years. Crappy offense that barely scores and a d that has to stop other teams cold to win and gets gutted when facing any competent offense.

I know the offense was stagnant as heck but the niners crammed the ball down the defense’s throat as well. We might suck on both sides of the ball. Just one game but this will be the season when we see what kind of a coach we really have!

Speaking of Vega$, my son and I will be at our annual away game in 12 short days. Tickets are stupid expensive but what better way to spend time with family? Hoover Dam, 1200 foot high roller coaster the new Sphere opens that week with U2 which we won’t be there for but will definitely check out. Go Steelers! Maybe ticket prices will drop if we choke away another game? Hoping we go in with both teams having a 1-1 record though!

This is a better squad on paper then the 2019 team (at least offensively. 2019 defense may be slightly better) where i believe a lot of people said the same thing once they knew Ben was done for the season. You must subconsciously be factoring in the early injuries in regards to this years squad and just failed to mention it? The schedule this year is not supposed to be that bad.

To me, this season won't prove what kind of coach that we have as much as it will prove just how good or bad Kenny is. If anybody needs to prove their worth it's him. He can never let Mason Rudolph and Duck Hodges outdo him and live it down. He's had way more experience then either one of those two had combined prior to when they took over and he's had a whole off-season and preseason to prepare knowing he was the man. Should I also mention he was a first rd pick? Duck and Mason had the added pressure of having to look over each other's shoulders if they had a bad game. Kenny doesn't have to worry about anybody behind him. He can blowhard for the next 16 games and he'll still be the starter in every game .

Thanks. We are hoping for better results this time around as the last 2 away games our Steelers got crushed in both. We always stay til the very last second ticks off the clock just like I did with my dad. Hopefully 3rd times a charm and we come away with a W. No matter what though memories will be made.

At my casino the over/under was 8 on Steelers. I took the over hoping to recoup the $$ lost on the Pirates beating the under. (good for you butthole Bob) I thought the Steelers only to be a .500 team going into season but got caught in the hype a bit. I do think I'm losing this bet. Sure the hell ain't surrendering just yet.

Maybe I'll win it all back on the NFCCG if Vegas screws that point spread up like they did last year. Lot's of us won on that game last year.
