Welcome to 12th edition of thesteelersfans.com Steelers Predict the Score Game.

Follow the rules below and make your prediction. I'll publish the results


after the game in a post on this thread. There will be 2 ways to win (a


weekly winner and a yearly winner).



This weeks Game is:



Pittsburgh vs Cleveland



This week's tiebreaker is yards rushing by the Steelers.

The rules are simple. Whoever predicts the correct winner with the


score closest to the actual score wins. For example if the score is


Pittsburgh 28 Cincinnati 21 The method of determining your score is


to take the value of the difference of your guess of the Pittsburgh score


and the value of the difference of your guess of the opponent score.


You also must pick the correct winner to make your pick valid. In case


of a tie, the tiebreaker is used.


For example if TTFs prediction is 35-21 Steelers he would be 7 points


from the actual score…..35-28=7 21-21=0 7+0=7.


If Ray Ds prediction is 30-18 Steelers he would be 5 points from the


score and he would beat TTF………30-28=2 21-18=3 2+3=5. If either


had picked the Bengals they would have automatically lost due to the


fact that they were not the winning team.


In the unlikely event of a tie (YES Donovan it could happen) we will


just go with closest to the actual score.


I will be awarding points for the first 10 places and including a bonus


of 3 additional points for making a perfect prediction. If there is a tie for a perfect pick 1 additional point will be added to have a true winner. I will track


cumulative point totals and the number of times you make the top 10.


This contest will end after the steelers last game of the season.


The deadline to make your picks is 1 minute before the scheduled kickoff.

Oh what a difference a week makes. Confidence was through the roof leading up to Sundays game.

I'll really be disgusted if the faithful Steeler fans sell their tickets to the Brown fans. At this very early stage I'd think the Brown fans think they may be on to something. Let's change their minds!!

Steelers usually pretty good on MNF and I don't think the Steelers are as bad as they looked yesterday

 

I agree that MNF football helps. Hope they learned A LOT in the beatdown by SF and can be ready for the Stains.

Sadly, I am changing my prediction. Listening to Williamson he said opponents are 0-15 the game after they face the 49ers, which makes sense with Heyward and Johnson out.
