Damn hottest week of the summer here so not turning oven on tomorrow. The neighbors get together opening day and have Cheesesteaks** and Pretzels. Thankfully Schmidts beer is all gone cause that crap be nasty but was a Philly beer. I use to sneak a 6 pack of of IC Light in years ago and stick in the cooler.

Obviously I won't watch their game but around our halftime as they are getting their grub ready, I'll be taking some of it for the second half ass kicking show the Steeler going to put on.

** Not sure if you guys get or ever had a Philly Cheesesteak but depending where you get it they be delish!!!!! A lot of locals like cheese whiz on it. I find that odd to put on good cuts of meat.

I wouldn't put cheese whiz on anything now. I may have liked it as a kid, but it definitely has an off-flavor. Provolone all the way.
And I've read it isn't authentic to use cracked pepper or mayo, but that is the way I like it.

 

Yeah, I'll once again be working 0600-1500.

Always ox roast sandwiches on Football Sunday, put it in the crockpot and ready to roll all game long. probably eat 4 of those during the game.

I always say in my next life I'm a west coaster. I like the idea of 4:05 Pirate games but not sure I would enjoy 10:00 NFL Sunday. I watched Steelers first Super Bowl at 9:00 AM (I think, I know it was early morning) in Hawaii. Even with all the BS hoopla in today's NFL it would be a 12:30 game in Hawaii.

 

For the second and third games of the season I will be 6 timezones east with the games being on at 2 am

 

Sounds like too many beers and you got lost on your way to the bathroom.
