I am not a drinker any longer, but Dan Patrick was in Ireland last week with his show, he had a Whiskey making Master on, that stuff sounded amazing. I guess the maker is now in Wisconsin and their Whiskey is making news in that world.

I don't know, I've got pretty thick skin being a blue collar guy but telling someone they have a "loser mentality" is a little below the belt.

It’s a hard job but somebody has to do it

I went camping for the weekend with some cronies and the womenfolk stayed at my shack

They put a dent in the inventory

thanks but nothing to be sorry about. Fought the cancer battle bravely, lost, but we had a great time and our kids are the essence of her brilliance. 10, soon 11 grandkids, all are educated and doing well, no complaints.

The third-round pick they spent on Green was a sunk cost. Getting any value in return for him today was a win.

I disagree. The draft chart suggests a 3rd round talent isn't equal to a 6th round talent. Loss IMO. Whatever makes your day. Most 6th round picks are JAGs(just a guy).

Now go back and try to actually read what I wrote, which you clearly did not. Perhaps you don't actually know the definition of sunk cost. It means the pick they spent on Green is gone. That loss already happened. What you do from there is what matters. Today, they got a six for a player who seemingly had no value at all because he sucks. That was the win. That was my point, the one that sailed right over your head.

This. Khan is a borderline miracle worker. Almost as good as the Claypool trade, haha. Man, this franchise is trending up big time. Smart and aggressive at the same time.

This is one of the best and most talented 53 man rosters in quite some time. All 3 phases are gonna be dynamite. Probably one of the most complete and balanced teams in the league.

If they stay healthy, and the O-line plays above average ball, this team is going to win a lot of games this year.

Green was Horrible at Center. The Steelers were horrible in planning for Pouncey’s replacement . Green wasn’t even a 3rd rd talent at OG. Spencer Anderson was taken in the 7th rd and is playing quite well at several positions.

Green did play ok at OG during the preseason BUT that wasn’t against the ones…… he is very strong and athletic so maybe he has a chance to make it at OG in Texas …. They sure need the help there .

Great job by Kahn to get something , anything, to help lessen Colbert’s Greatest screw up.

Colbert and Tomlin are to blame for this dumpster fire Green.

I feel its a win. Instead of just releasing him outright and hiding the mistake on the practice squad Khan pulled off another miracle. Yes unfortunately we lost a 3rd with this scrub but at least they got something for him instead of nothing which could help with possible trade up if needed.

All is right in the Steeler world with this mistake no longer taking up space.

You hit it on the head. I think over these past couple of years, while most have brought negative critique against Green's play, we also have expressed that is was not his fault where he was picked, nor his fault in how the team threw him into that situation. The fact that his play was subpar (to be kind) has nothing to do with him personally, and like others a change is what he needs. But like others that change of place may not give him the time or direction needed to be a better player. Going to Houston he may be forced to start and have to learn a completely new O in a week, play with others who are thrown in to start because most of that line is already injured. This trying to protect a rookie Qb picked number 2 in the draft..that is a tall order.
