Sound Of Freedom movie

I went to see Sound Of Freedom last week. It was one of the most powerful movies I've ever seen. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it.

Although some people claim it's political, there's nothing political about it. It's about child sex trafficking, and I think (hope) both liberals and conservatives are against that.

I've heard claims that it's racist, but I saw nothing racist about it. Yes, the bad guys are Hispanic, but so are many of the good guys. It's based on a true story that took place in Central and South America, so of course most of the characters are from those regions. Race was totally irrelevant in the story.

This movie isn't what I'd call entertaining, but it wasn't it meant to be. It's a movie about an uncomfortable subject that we tend to ignore because of it being so uncomfortable.

This movie isn't propaganda. It's a sad reality that will make you think. Regardless of your race, political leanings, or religious beliefs, this is a must see.

 

Haven't seen it but sounds like a fair analysis LD. I believe a lot of the flack has been from those who dislike who funded/produced this movie vs the content. This comes as no surprise.

 

I'd love to see it but I have a lot of trouble watching anything like that.
