2 years 16 million for Myles Jack is the best free agent signing in a long time. The only other recent free agent signing that was this good was Joe Haden. You can’t build a contender without these type of signings.

Myles Jack is definitely a good addition to this team. I really like his emotional involvement.

Hell... I would see to it he gets extended long term to remain a Steeler. For that matter and, I am pouring salt on this wound, I wanted him BADLY back during the 2016 NFL Draft. Had he not gotten a nasty knee injury which knocked him out, he would have been a Top 10 pick in that class for certain... minimum. He did fall within Pittsburgh's reach..... then that corner that shall not be named got drafted. In addition, while I understand that the Steelers went with him and did not attend Jack's Pro Day, he and Ryan Shazier would have been the most athletically gifted linebacking duo with little to no contest.

Alas and sadly, quite a bit happened since then; both for good and for worse. However, I am personally happy he is here and hope he remains here long term.

All the Jacksonville fans were saying he was washed up. Not sure if he looks washed up next to other Jacksonville LBs. However in Pittsburgh he looks like a HOF LB.

Now, team up Mark Robinson beside him and we may have something?

I'm guessing they were going to cut him.
