Now he think the steelers have a top 5 roster....

Cowherd has always changed his arguments every week or month to be sure to be right at least once with a team.... He does not just do that with the Steelers but also with other teams and also in other sports like the NBA

Not every team have Mahomes Colin and btw the steelers have been more on offense in draft and free agency since 2021,so Cowherd is a bit ignorant....Most of the money was in the killer B's too in that era

Well if you think about it, what are the 5 top paid positions on offense? QB, #1 WR, LT, TE, and RB

QB - Kenny Pickett - Rookie Deal
#1 WR - George Pickens - Rookie Deal
LT - Broderick Jones/Dan Moore - Rookie Deal for both
TE - Pat Freiermuth - Rookie Deal
RB - Najee Harris - Rookie Deal

So yeah... No $h!t the Steelers offense makes less money than the defense in totality lol bum take by Cowherd

Can't take CowChit seriously anymore. What he says depends on which way the wind is blowing.

I cannot find it, but read an article last week where Omar acknowledged that the % spent was of sync and he was working to rectify that. When the statement was made I have no idea, but as you said the O is young and still on the rookie deals, the middle line however has 3 FA pu's in 2 years, plus Herbig. Still a lot more in the D, but the O is going to balance that out in a year or 2.

One again everyone.... people like @Blast Furnace@Blast Furnace and @Steel_Elvis@Steel_Elvis have stated this regarding Colin and others ad hominem; "Take Culture."

What does that mean?! Throw rational analysis with superb personality to augment that style of sports reporting out the window in trade for sensationalistic views and shock jock personalities. Mind you said term is sports related for said term is being played out in real time; EPSN's massive free fall from grace being the greatest example. I have not explained the funniest part though.

The progenitor of this new wave of style of Sports Media was spawned on by one Skip Bayless. No seriously... for those of you who have watched "Cold Pizza" way back when on ESPN... Skip has not changed at all. Thanks to that shows popularity, his style of Analysis changed Sports Media forever... but not in a good way.

Social Media has made "Take Culture" duodecillions of times worse.

Didn't the original hack Jim Rome, predate Bayless? Hell, his catch phrase used to be; "Have a take that doesn't suck". Like he'd know the difference. Rome had a look, a wardrobe, a big mouth, but was short on content. Just like Cowherd and Bayless.

Jim Rome was more shock jock than he was a sensationalist. Skip Bayless was a different beast of vanity.

Bayless got owned by Merrill Hoge on the Johnny Manziel topic. It was an epic beatdown. It made Bayless look pathetic.

CC started his reporting career as a sports guy on the local news out here in the Northwest. All he does is stir the pot! He's looking for reactions and playing the "devil's advocate" quite a bit.

The Steelers made huge strides (IMO) just bringing in Isaac S. on the OL. They also got the first rounder OT from Georgia! The TE from Georgia will be a great weapon in their offense as well. But other than that, the skill players on offense are set! QB, WR and RB are solid to very good. The only true need was OL. The TE room just added more depth!

    Go Steelers!

Yes. Skip is a trailblazer, a pioneer even of not just the stan/troll culture in sports. He’s helped influenced pop culture as a whole. A lot of the stan-war games and “make’em mad” mentalities that we see now can be traced back to Skip.

    This 1,000 times.

I now believe there are 2 of him running around making video clips: Twins.

I watch my videos on youtube, so it is not like I am watching his entire show. He pops up pretty often when you search just for "Steelers" in the last 7 days. You never know if you are going to get the Colin Cowherd that loves the Steelers, or the evil twin brother that hates the Steelers. It is a total crap shoot every time I watch one of his video clips on YouTube.

    True.

I am just pointing out what Skip ended up doing for the entirety of Sports Media as a whole.... which had far more repercussions than anything else really.

I don't know where you are going with this, but I truly enjoyed watching Cold Pizza with Skip and Woody on ESPN in the morning.

For me it was the best morning show on TV when it was on 20 years ago. A morning show on ESPN to compete with Good Morning America, and the Today show.

I am from Colorado, so there is a little Woody Paige bias as having grown up on his columns in The Denver Post.
