The Tomlin fanboys will always try to blame Ben for this teams pathetic last 12 years of postseason failure. Ben certainly did not play as well in the postseason as he did during different regular season stretches but he was the reason we were even there in the first place. Ben isn’t around to blame anymore will be interesting to see the new excuse.

Good lord you’re a miserable human being. How do you make it through a day with Mike tomlin living rent free in your head? At least 90% of you in the torch and pitchfork crowd can’t even come up with an original thought. You just parrot whatever sounds good and thump your chests.

I'm not trying to trash Mike Tomlin. I like Tomlin as a coach.

Is he perfect? Of course not. But I count myself lucky to have him as a leader of this team for almost 2 decades.

This whole situation is going to play itself out. We will see if Canada's offense evolves and if Kenny Pickett takes a big step forward. I love this part of football when you see things unfolding and revealing themselves in front of you. I am certainly excited to see where this whole thing is going.

I personally think the team is going to be better than last year. I think they may have to fight and claw early with many new faces to integrate into the system, but they find traction and are a good football team that can be very dangerous come playoff time. Just my opinion.

Coming from a punk like you I have 0 respect for. You sit here and try to act like this all knowledgeable football guru. Nobody besides you and Mike Tomlin understand the intricacies of a football game. Nobody else understands a game plan or in game adjustments etc etc. give it a rest already nobody gives a damn about your love affair with Mike T.

Oh noes! Whatever will I do? Sadly for you you’re too stupid to realize just how ****ing clueless you really are. Every single day it’s the same dumb **** from you. Then you get all butthurt when someone calls you on your bull****.

So I’m lying about 3 playoff wins in 12 years??? Stupid and clueless? Look in the mirror clown.

Just because you don’t want to hear it and it hurts your ****ty argument does not make it BS.

As I’ve asked you on more than one occasion what transpired in our playoff losses in the last 12 years? What actually happened? Did tomlin step out onto the field, take the ball from a player and hand it to the opposing team to run into the endzone?

And the defense supposedly his specialty getting shredded in pretty much every one of those losses?? He has no blame on being out coached??

As usual you refuse to answer the question. In 2017 when we lost the jags they were top 10 in offense and defense. Ben spots them 14 points (1 int and 1 fumble. Fumble returned 50 yards for a td)and you blame coach. Makes total sense. We lost to the browns spotting them 28 points in a quarter and yet once again you blame the coach. Why do YOU choose to ignore what happens on the field and blame the coach(es)? They’re not the ones out there throwing interceptions or fumbling the football. So why do you blame someone other than the person or persons responsible?

The defensive performance vs Jaguars were just awful. You can't defend this. The jaguars had scored at least 31 points vs steelers(17 points in the fourth quarter),the same team who had scored only 10 points in each of their 2 previous games. The steelers red zone defense in that game was also very disgusting

Also, Todd Haley was bad at times in that game, like started the game with 3 screen passes or something like that when the steelers were already down 7-0 after an easy score for the jaguars on the first drive and running against a stacked box in the first 2 down in the drive after which put Ben and the offense in a 3rd down and long. The next drive, the fourth down call were awful....

Also when the steelers were now down 28-21,Haley was way too conservative in the next 2 drives even when Ben was hot in the 2 previous drive.Probably the worst loss for the steelers in the last 20 years or so, terrible at every level but you can't put that on Ben, since the jaguars had such a elite pass defense.Against the Browns, it's a different story, because Ben was awful

And here you are ignoring Ben’s interception and his fumble.we were down 28-14 at the half. 14 of the jaguars points came from an interception and a fumble by 7.

Right because it’s impossible for a defense to step up after a turnover. They must automatically fold the rest of the game and give up entirely.

Serious question are you related to MT? If you are I apologize.

I guess when you’re an idiot that’s a burn. Ben’s Fumble was returned 50 yards for a touchdown. That’s somehow on the defense? Ben’s int set a top 10 offense up at the 18 yard line. Definitely the coaches fault. Answer the very simple question posed to you earlier.

Have you actually looked at our last handful of playoff losses statistics? Do you see what opposing offenses do to us? Or are you so dense and defensive of this man you will never blame him for anything ever. Don’t bother I already know the answer.

I didn't ignore, otherwise I would have said that the defense gave 45 points and not 31 points.31 points is way too much for a team like the Jaguars who had scored 10 points in each of the 2 previous game

It's a shame you ignore the rest of the game

The defense was just pathetic after Shazier's injury...Do you remember the game against a very washed Joe Flacco the month before when they gave up 38 points against that team?....Probably Ben's fault

You are wasting your time. I am too critical of MT, hes not a bad coach, mainly because I see nothing change year after year just more excuses. However this dude would literally jump in front of a bullet for him he will never say anything negative regardless of what facts smack him in the skull.

Im certainly on Bens side over MT for any success this team has had however I admit Ben has not played as well in the playoffs as regular season. He would never say one bad thing about MT just excuse after excuse.

Thank you. For the love of God, thank you.

Not everything is black and white. Both sides have points, and things happen in football that people should get credit for and criticized for.

Thanks for reminding me we lost our star ilb and his backup in the prior month. Subsequently brought someone in off the street to try and fill those roles. But but but tomlin

And they scored 40+ the week before and 30+ the week before that and so on and so forth. And as you pointed we lost shazier and matakevich and Ben spotted them 14 points.

Yes I do. We spotted the browns 28 points. We gave the jags 14. We give away points via turnover and you blame the coaches. As if somehow they’re out there throwing interceptions and fumbling the ball away. What you don’t seem to understand is statistics can be manipulated to paint a picture that isn’t accurate. You keep pointing to the fact we haven’t won a playoff game in 12 years, but ignore the very important statistic known as turnovers. Why don’t you go look up your odds of winning when you turn the ball over?

I put it more on defense than Tomlin and Ben was one of the last reasons why we lost this game.Yes Ben had 2 turnovers, but I saw a lot of QBs (including Brady on a few occasions) win playoff games with 2-3 turnovers....

The defense vs Jaguars and some other game late in the season were just disgusting

But I admit I shouldn't have answered you, I understand why you talked about Ben's 2 turnovers in this game, it was to defend Tomlin that it wasn't 100% Tomlin's fault and I agree with that. And I'm going to stop talking about this loss, since this loss was so painful for me!
