    Is this the cornerback from SDSU we signed, who played in the XFL? Any word on how he is doing so far? Might be a long shot to make the team but who knows?

    He played a season in the xfl and has had stints with 5 other nfl teams. He’s probably the long shot of all long shots

    the one i think we should try to get back is mark gilbert. he plays for the maulers in the usfl and is leading that league in picks. he at the time didn't want to re-sign a futures contract with us because he didn't really get a shot here. he had some skills. i wouldn't mind them trying to get him back. pretty crowded though. may be able to play that slot role for us. smart kid too out of duke. :cool:
