I pointed out that defense. Doesn't change the fact that he won a superbowl with a bad QB. So I ignored nothing

Think about how your lord and saviors defense got absolutely embarrassed every playoff game since 2016

 

Let's be real here, a wildcard, divisional, AFC championship, or even a Super Bowl win is not gonna stop some people from wanting to get rid of Tomlin. There will always be someone else who deserves the credit. Let's stop acting like a playoff win is all of a sudden going to placate those who are over Mike Tomlin as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Sh!t, he manages to pull off a couple of wins this next post season, who's the scapegoat then? Answer is..... still him.

What i truly am gathering from this thread and it is NO SURPRISE is.... the AFC CENTRAL is and always will be the toughest fkn division in the entire nfl.

 

No ....our biggest problem came with the D. You are not winning many playoff games with giving up over 30 points a playoff game.
We had some very terrible 1st round draft picks during that time, and if MT was totally reasonable for those picks He should be under fire, but We know He wasn't the only one picking them. Z. Hood(wrong type of D for Him), Jarvis Jones (terrible anywhere), Artie Burns, T. Edmunds, B. Dupree (started good , got injured, and then didn't really have His best until the end), the loss of Tuitt(I know He's not 1st round, but played like He was... very unfortunate), and Ryan Shazier (no one's fault...freak accident). Those things destroyed our D. Yes Tomlin should take some of the blame, but not to the degree some say. Again....it's not easy winning. Anyone give Me a coach You think is head and shoulders better, and I can show how they are not.

 

Actually 7....the others on the offense are as much to blame on the other points.

 

Is it. I believe Bill took a Cleveland team , and won a playoff game without any Qb to speak of. It was the Browns last playoff win until 2020. He also went 11- 5 His 1st year without Brady when Brady got hurt the 1st game. He also beat us in the AFC Championship(under Bill Cowher)when Brady got knocked out early in the game.

 

Or ...AFC North as it's now called.

 

That Raven SB was an odd season. Steelers last team to beat them that year. IMO the worse QB to ever win a SB. That said, he had a hell of a game and some may say he played better then a certain Steeler QB in the SB.

 

Overall Belichick had 3 winning season in 10 seasons without Brady.1994 is one of them

 

can't we just draft a new coach next year?

Well, when your team has a history of being terrible like the Bengals, and they keep getting those top 10 draft picks eventually you will start to win.
