The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, 25, married Amy Paternoster in a "fairytale celebration" at Pleasantdale Chateau in New Jersey on Saturday. "She makes me a better person," Pickett tells PEOPLE exclusively.

The NFL player proposed to his bride back in January 2022, before the Steelers drafted him in April. At the time, the pair were looking at wedding venues in New Jersey and immediately "fell in love" with Pleasantdale Chateau."

 

Presumably, Pickett won't be making the same off field mistakes that plagued Ben early in his career

 

She can be his agent as she has an economics degree from Princeton and works for Goldman-Sachs.

Proud he married a Jersey girl, I just wish the one I married was that hot in our prime, to be fair, she probably wishes I had that talent and $. Enjoy yourself Kenny and use your hands to throw TD's of course.

 

I was just reading about their spectacular wedding. I'm even more of a fan now as they chose Elvis "Can't Help Falling in Love" as she walked down the aisle instead of the traditional wedding march.

 

I heard DJ was there, but heard 2 different stories.

Or like a lot of people....just cheat on their spouses.....I for one would never even think about marriage while I was still playing. Plenty of time afterwards.
