Chuck Noll, you're definitely missing him along with George Halas and Curley Lambeau
John Harbaugh but not Chuck Noll, George Halas or Curley Lambeau?

Jerry Glanville???? You missed Noll and Belichick and put his name down. Honestly the guy might not even be in the top 50 or 100 of all time, lol.

Hell you might even consider Bill Cowher or Mike Tomlin, but Chuck Noll is still above them. If you want to troll you have to be better than this.

Pretty solid lost. I think Grant and Madden deserve honorable mention. While Madden did win one SB, both teams were powerhouses in their conferences during their runs.

Coaches like Andy Reid, Jimmie Johnson, John Madden and Weeb Ewbank made my honorable mention list. Weeb outcoached Shula in Superbowl III, that victory changed the entire future of the NFL.

I would agree. If Reid is not top ten, I think he gets there before he is done. Seeing Weeb's name I decided to check him out, which takes a rabbit hole into another era. His teams won two NFL champs in the 50's, and his mentor was Paul Brown, another great coach of the past. I think most tend to look at the 'modern age' of football 1970 on, or at least the start of the Superbowl a few years earlier. That rabbit hole is many of the coach's on the list had mentor's from that earlier time, and Paul Brown was the root to a lot of those tree's.

Weeb Ewbank is the only coach in history to win an NFL title, an AFL title and a Superbowl title.

I read that, likely the closest comparison would be Shula who won the NFL title with Baltimore, then an AFC crown along with the SB the same year. I know its looked at different after the merger, but doing it in 2 different leagues is pretty impressive.

If the list was longer like 12.....I would have Him on....it's just hard knowing He was a Head coach for almost 20 years before winning the big game, and having the best Qb in the league right now to do it.

That's fair, but his teams have won two Super Bowls and played in four. That is hard to ignore. Also, doesn't he get some credit for helping Mahomes become a great quarterback?

That is as a very strong list. Here is mine.

    1. Chuck Noll
    2. Bill Belichick
    3. Vince Lombardi
    4. Joe Gibbs
    5. Bill Walsh
    6. Don Shula
    7. Jimmy Johnson
    8. Paul Brown
    9. Tom Landry
    10. Andy Reid

I hard a hard time leaving off Harbaugh, Bill Parcells, and Cowher. I am absolutely allowing bias to guide me at No. 1, but hey, I'm a Steelers fan on a message board for Steelers fans, so it is appropriate.

Levy was great, but I leave him off for a couple of reasons. One is that he never won the Super Bowl. The other is that I think he was outcoached by Parcells in one of those Super Bowl losses. He had the better team and lost anyway.

JMO, but I thought Mahomes would be good anywhere He went, but You are probably correct that it made Him better quicker. It's a hard list to make for only ten.
