    There schedule is as follows:

At home the Steelers will play the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns in the North, in addition to the Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans.

On the road the team will face Baltimore, Cincinnati and Cleveland, as well as the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, and Seattle Seahawks.

    My prediction:
    Baltimore - W
    Cincinnati - L
    Cleveland - W
    Arizona - W
    Green Bay - W
    Jacksonville - L
    New England - W
    San Francisco - L
    Tennessee - W
    Baltimore - L
    Cincinnati - L
    Cleveland - W
    Houston - W
    Indianapolis - W
    Las Vegas - W
    Los Angeles Rams - W
    Seattle - L

    11-6
Legit Wild Card Team at minimum.

    Lets Go!!!

On paper we have an easier schedule than last year. There are a hand full of teams that are rebuilding that should be a win, but you never know. The Steelers in addition should be better with Kenny having a year of experience and an offseason in the system. Plus lots of new free agents and draft picks that appear to have strengthened the team.

When you look at the schedule there aren’t many teams with Franchise QB’s we face this year. It will be an excellent year to break in the rookie CB’s.

    Joe Burrow
Lamar Jackson (Transitioning in a new Offense)
    Deshawn Watson (Who Knows)
    Kyler Murray (Who Knows)
Bradford (Old and coming off an injury)
    Geno Smith (One good year)

It would be interesting to know what the teams run defenses are like that we face.
I believe outside of Baltimore and San Franciso the rest of the teams are fairly middle of the pack.

I would be very surprised if we did not at minimum go 11-6.

Those 3 western road games usually are a Bit** for them. You have 2 of them as L's, I can live with that, but just hope it's not some ridicules turn around comeing back..or going out there.

Very true. The schedule obviously can have a big impact. The crazy thing is look at the Qb’s we face. The good thing is it is a great schedule to break in a lot of rookies on the pass defense. The bad thing is we won’t know how truly good we are until we get to the playoffs. The run defense will definitely be tested however. There are a lot of good run teams we will be facing.

I'm going 9-8. I think Kenny makes a nice jump and the running game will be strong. Really a year away from making a serious impact. Until proven otherwise, despite the additions, underneath pass defense is what will hold the team back and obviously the man calling/designing the plays on offense.

I believe the offense and the running game will get better over the course of the season and will even become dominant. The issue will become when they make the playoffs, can they come up with enough splash plays if they should fall behind. There will be times when this offense needs to be explosive.
I think they win 10 games.

Ceiling for me is 12 games. Floor is 9 games. I have them winning 10 currently but that will change come May 11th (presumably).

    Why presumably..?!

I'd go with 10 wins....I agree with most of what You have , but I'd switch a few of the Ws, and Ls. Like NE....I gotta see it first. We beat Brady last year, but Bill, and His boys(NE) beat us....again. I think We split with Bengals. Overall....I agree.

I just caught the tail end of Cynthia Frelund's segment on the NFL Network. She had the Steelers moving up the most of any team concerning their pre-draft win total projection compared to post draft. Her analytics had the Steelers 9-8 pre-draft but moving to 11-6 post draft.

I like looking at Cynthia, but I hate listening to her. Do You remember what she had us picked at last year???? Last in the division. Same the year before.....so she's not very reliable.

Anything less than 10 wins will be terribly disappointing but then again we're running Matt Canada back out there who is one of the worst OC's in the league. I'd say 11-6 but need to see the schedule first to really make a valid prediction.

I think 11 wins is reasonable for sure. I think 11-12. If KFP balls out we could win more. If KFP is the same as last year and doesn't progress, then we are likely in the 9-10 win range. I'm assuming he will take a step forward.

But what is reliable that she will wear a skin tight leather outfit for every segment. Seriously though it does show that it's just not us Steeler fans who are over the moon about this draft. Almost every NFL pundit is giving the Steelers rave reviews about this draft.

All the more reason I elect to study tape and formulate opinions on my own as opposed to leave everything to analytics. People need to realize that metrics are tools; not iron clad solutions. The sooner the incompetent NFL Teams realize this.... the better.

With any luck, Mike Tomlin allows Glenn Thomas to gradually have more input within the Offensive Game Plan before that happens. However, as it stands, Matt Canada is still on the team... but with a very short leash imo. Step up or step out time for him.

i still see us with around 9/10 wins but i'm not sold on Pickett at all. I get Canada gameplan wasn't all great but they had to really dumb it down for Pickett.. I hope they open up the playbook for him so we can find out fast whether he's the longterm guy or it's time to look for an upgrade next April in what as of now seems like a deep draft of QBs

    We went 9-8 last year

Last years team and QB steadily improved

We picked up more talent at key spots

This years team should improve as the season goes on

    11-6 is certainly attainable

I don't consider myself a troll but if this team fails to make the playoffs this upcoming season while averaging less than 27 points a game on offense then both need to be fired immediately.

I don't listen much to sports talk. I know the game.

The next phase is seeing the team come together and if form that 'team' mentality and buy into the systems.
I need to see Kenny get that mind-meld thing going on with the receivers and kick it up a notch reading those defenses.
The Defense needs to get that edge.

    That comes in July/Aug.
Right now, I see them as they were, a 9-8 team with some changes.
