Interesting, and I wont guess about other teams, but what STD said is pretty accurate for the 8 OL taken by the steelers in the 1st round since 1970. No comment on bust or not, just stating NFL career in years.

John Rienstra, 6 years, was not resigned after rookie contract, Tom Ricketts, played 5 seasons total, cut before 1st contract ended by steelers, Leon Searcy, 10 years, left FA after 1st contract. Jamaine Stephens, 5 years, cut after 3 years in the burgh.

The last 4 had the greatest success, Faneca, Simmons, Pouncey, and Decastro. Simmons was signed to an extension, but his career was injury plagued. No need to to talk about the other 3, lol.
